I think you're onto something here, WR and MLB early would get the most bang for our buck because you count on those positions so much.

If our MLB or WR play slips, it's all over for us.

I say go after Aaron Mellette out of Elon in the 6th round. Big WR that played at a small school. Had a good Senior Bowl. He could be the missing link to the WR core. I would not waste a 2nd round pick on a WR, when I can possible bet Mellette in the 6th.

There is nothing that says we can't take a late round flier on a guy to round out the 6th WR spot. Hawkins will most likely be a cap casualty and Mariani has probably lost his spot now that we signed Reynard

What rookie wr has made big splashes lately? MLB I could see but not before the mid rounds. We will go for game changers or be really basic in the first couple rounds. Another 1st round WR? Lol we'd have three first round wrs.. Prolly not

Then...I question if we should waste a pick on it then. Everyone (including me) seems to complain with a 2nd round that doesn't seem to produce. If we have a WR that wouldn't be able to replace Britt then why draft him. The only other position I would imagine use taking for is Slot. Do any of these guys have a Wes Welker style?

DeAndre Hopkins will produce if he gets the playing time, which he likely will once Britt gets hurt again. He's worthy of our 2nd round pick and a future STUD receiver... he's likely to go late 1st however.
