It's possible brother. Teams go crazy for quarterbacks. If Geno/Barkley at gone when Buffalo comes up, do they risk waiting for a QB? They should... but will they?

I love that EJ Manuel is now being considered a possibility for the first round. Take it from an FSU alum, someone who watched just about every game he ever played for the Seminoles, the guy sucks. He has no pocket presence. No deep accuracy to speak of. Crumbles in big moments.

The 2012 Seminoles were a good QB away from being a national title contender.

I'm with you JC. I think Geno is gone top 5 and I think there's a very good chance Barkley goes top 10. Sure it's not a good year for QBs but LOTS of teams need one. And that's a position many teams don't really mind reaching for. E.G. us with Locker and the Vikings with Ponder a couple years back.

More and more news coming out that Palmer may be cut from Oakland. He's about to get paid and is unwilling to take a paycut (rumored). If this happens, Geno Smith is a favorite at #3... remember Oakland doesn't have a 2nd round pick, so they can't wait.

Jacksonville now becomes a hot trade option, if a team falls for Geno... they better get that #2, which I dont see happening.

I honestly wouldn't be too surprised if Jax pulls the trigger on a QB. New HC. New GM. And any idiot can see that Blaine freaking Gabbert is not the answer.

I agree, but I also see Gus Bradley wanting that elite pass rusher.

    KC - Joeckel
    JAX - Dion Jordan
    OAK - Geno
    PHI - Fisher
    DET - Ansah
    CLE - Milliner
    ARZ - Lane Johnson
    BUF - Barkley
    NYJ - Mingo
TEN - Warmack, Floyd, Star, and Rhodes all available

I'm glad you made this thread JC, because I was about to.

I believe it will definitely happen. Like people have been saying, everyone reaches for QBs and all it takes is ONE.

Raiders are about to let Palmer go and will most certainly look to the draft for a prospect. You will notice too that these QBs are rising up the boards. As draft day nears I think we
    ll see more of this.

Its all good for us :)

I think it's safe to say Geno will go top ten.. not likely that KC, Jax, Oakland, Arizona, Buffalo, Phily, and New York all pass on him. The question is if Barkley, or even the guy out of NC State will go. I'd have to say no. There is too little 1st round talent and a lot of depth at the QB position for two to go top 10. That shows you how bad this QB class really is. The NFL is a passing league now, and no one wants these guys with a burning passion.

We don't really know that though. There is a lot of misinformation and smokescreens thrown out there pre-draft. GMs typically aren't just going to tell you who they covet.

I'll be absolutely shocked if Geno doesn't go top 5. And I just have a feeling some other team in the top 10 is going to reach for another one.
