Many project this guy could go in the top 15. If the Titans want him, they will need to take him at 10. Just don't think a rookie WR is what the Titans need right now.

Top 15 is even pushing it

the first round is reserved for the prettiest players, as in ideal height, weight, speed, etc...

All Tavon Austin is great at is being shifty, that does not make him a top 15 pick.

    Randall Cobb 2nd round
    Percy Harvin late 1st
    Dexter McCluster 2nd round
    DeSean Jackson 2nd round

all the guys Austin is compared to are later picks, not top 10 or 15

if we waste our 10th pick on this kid I will be livid.

I was just regurgitating what I heard on NFL Network. They said a lot of scouts are seeing him as a top 10-15 pick and they are usually pretty accurate there. I think it might have been Daniel Jeremiah and he is a guy I definitely trust.

Agreed. Especially since we already took a very similar receiver to early in the first last year. If they think wr is a large need (frankly, I would agree) and take Paterson or Hunter, I could live with that, but not another shifty slot midget.

He almost seems like a DeJean Jackson clone. With that being said, I wouldn't take him with top 10 pick. You can find good slot receivers later in the draft. Or just draft Hunter with one our 3rd round picks and keep Wright in the slot.

No way Hunter is still there in the 3rd. Maybe, and this is a big maybe, Robert Woods from USC, and I'd be fine with that.

The comparison to DeSean Jackson is spot on, except I honestly think Austin is faster.

What about the WR from Clemson (can't remember his name). He seemed really quick. He might be there in the 3rd.

If someone else wants to take him in the top 15 go for it but I don't think I would have much of a problem trading back into the 20's, picking up a 2nd or 3rd, and then going Austin. This is probably just a bunch of pre draft talk, I bet come mid April he won't be on anyone's draft chart as a top 10 pick. Teams know better than that.

Also, I'm not sure if we did draft a WR early that he would play the outside. We already have Wright and Britt is still on the team, would we draft a WR early to sit on the bench until Britt is gone or go with a slot guy and give him immediate playing time?

Hunter is going early 2nd or late 1st.

Don't be surprised if the Texans take him with their 1st round pick... he's moving way up the boards.

He was only the 2nd best Wr on his own team. How in the hell is he worth a 10th pick?

And then you look at who we could get in rd 2 with the 39th pick guys like
Hopkins or hunter and it is retarded to even think that this guy is worth a 10th pick.
