You're right, but he hasn't proven he can't do it either. He gets a year to do it.

Fitzpatrick proved he can't do it when the Bills payed him $59 million and he **** the bed.

A scenario when a loser QB wins five straight. Like I said, Locker gets the starts regardless.

Won't be a loser on an actual respectable team

I love how Fitzpatrick gets the benefit of the doubt on that one, but Locker doesn't. Fantastic.

It's not like QBs grow on trees in the NFL. You'd think Fitzpatrick would have a job waiting for him on one of these QB needy teams. Why even bother going somewhere that requires him to wait in the wings for an injury to the starter?

He didn't even play terrible after getting that contract. He certainly didn't **** any beds. The team lost a lot of games, but you can't win games by yourself.

I'll take 61%, 7,200 yards, 48 touchdowns vs 39 interceptions any day of the week. Definitely beats anything we've had here in a while.

Seriously, this guy is one year removed from a season where he threw for 3,800 yards, 24 touchdowns, only 14 picks, and 62% completion percentage. When's the last time we had a QB who could do that? Did McNair EVER do that?

    What benefit of the doubt?

Fitz has proven he can hit a receiver in stride consistently, fully grasp an offense, and put up stellar numbers over an extended period of time. Locker has only proven he sucks.

All that and he gets cut and is now a backup. 32 NFL teams are apparently wrong.

Elvis Dumervil got cut. He sucks?

Bernard Pollard sucks? Nmandi Asomugha? James Harrison was cut twice before he exploded in Pittsburgh, and he just got cut again.

Come on, you know as well as I do players don't always get cut because they don't have the talent. It's a business.

That's great. He was awesome in September. Not so great in October, November or December.

    September: 65% 9 TDs 3 INTs
    Signs new deal
    October: 71% 5 TDs 7 INTs
    November: 57.7% 5TDs 7 INTs
    December: 55.7% 3 TDs 5 INTs
    January: 63% 2 TDs 4 INTs

Good thing he had that great September, otherwise he wouldn't have been the starter in 2012...

    Grasping at straws.

QBs are worth the money. Good ones, anyway.
