If this guy can play center, and with his size....why would he not be a favorite to take the starting center spot?

I still think Warmack is the right move at 10 for these guys. Don't see this guy being an answer at guard other than a versatile back up.

Were you not the one who started a Cordarrelle Patterson thread?

I don't see how this rules out Warmack (or maybe Cooper) at 10. To me it's another step closer to losing Amano and overhauling the line in general, but doesn't reduce the impact of drafting Warmack, say.

Velasco could go, Amano should and probably will go, Matthews is gone, Lutui probably won't be retained. That's a likely 3 spots, and we've only added Levitre and this guy Turner. It still makes sense to draft Warmack, to me.

Keep in mind- this front office isn't as stupid as they have been in past years.

I'm hoping they're not dumb enough to take Milliner in the first round.

mike75 started a Cordarrelle Patterson thread just to say we shouldn't take him.. lol. I started one in favor of taking him a month or so ago, it has been buried though. CP is definitely a possibility at 10.. especially now that OG isn't as strong of a need. I'm not saying I'm completely in favor of it, but it deserves consideration at least.

Edit: DW, Milliner won't make it out of the top ten. I'm hoping that he is gone before 10 so we're not temped into taking him. He definitely has first round value, I just don't see him as the single best CB.

Yes i started the Patterson thread to see what other opinions were about us drafting him.I am not in favor of drafting him though.Reports are he is too raw plus he only played one year at Tennessee so i figure we could be better of going with defense with that pick or drafting Warmack/Cooper.

Last season i did correctly predict and lobby for us to get a receiver in the first round because we needed one bad with Britt coming off an injury and just not having a very reliable set of receivers besides Nate Washington.

We really need Warmack at 10 still. It'll solidify our interior for the next 5 years, and we all know in 2 or 3 years we'll be looking for tackle replacements. It'd be nice to know our interior is under control when we go through any tackle changes.

Patterson is beyond raw... he probably hasn't run a route in his life.

That doesn't work in the NFL.

He will probably be as good as Stephen Hill.

I'm a little concerned with this signing. I like that as a backup he can play either G position or C. But if he wins the RG starting job and we don't draft one early, I'm worried our OL won't be as improved.
