And I honestly don't know why Greene would want to come here. He's had back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons and he comes here to play second fiddle to CJ?

I haven't seen the guaranteed money, but my guess is that it is more of a 2 yr deal. This is from rotoworld and all I have to say is that this has to be one of the dumbest stats possible. Obviously the guy isn't going to rack up a bunch of yards when he is scoring from inside the 2 yard line. I want to know how effective he is in short yardage not how many yards he actually gets. And the fact is that he was 7 for 7 in scoring from inside the 2 yd line. I like that stat a bunch.

The Titans were in the market for a power back to pair with Chris Johnson. We're not sure that's what they're getting. Mike Clay from Pro Football Focus enlightened us with these stats on Greene in short-yardage situations: With one-to-two yards to go, Greene carried the ball 33 times for 85 yards and seven touchdowns last season, "good "for a 2.57 YPC clip. The NFL average in said situations is 3.1 YPC. Greene is poor in short-yardage situations because he doesn't run to his size. He's still likely to siphon some scoring opportunities from CJ2K in 2013.

Of course it's crazy. But it could work well. I'm not interested in worrying over cap when we've been a suck ass team.

Makes you wonder what other offers were out there for him if he's going from starter to becoming our short yardage/CJ needs a breather guy.

Again, I like the pick up but the contract ehhh.

We became a suck ass team because Mr. Reese started blowing money and couldn't keep up with everything. If we would've managed our money a bit better we wouldn't have been trash for so many years. I don't think Webster is going to do this but it's starting to worry me a bit.

I fully understand the fact that it's not cool to be the jets cap situation. But I do trust Webster. Gotta try something. We need pieces to be formidable. They think grabbed some of them in FA.

Cook coulda been 35 mil. Instead all three of our TEs now don't equal that. Hass will get restructured soon enough as well.

It is a chunk of change but when you have a young inaccurate QB you better try to take some of the pressure off of him and you do that by having a solid OL and running game.
