Im a diehard FSU fan, but Sharif is definitely a beast. I wouldnt say hes a better prospect than Suh but easily a better prospect than Gerald McCoy in my opinion. I would love for us to draft him but i dont think there is a chance he'll be there at 10. If Sharif doesnt stick out to you when you watch Florida play, you need to watch more Florida tape as he can be downright dominating at times. Dont forget that Suh was a redshirt senior when he had that dominating season. Floyd is only a true junior and i wouldnt be surprised if he was having a similar type of impact if he was still playing college football in 2 years.
Tre is a good player, started every game as a sophomore this season. I think he has good potential, and great size (6'4 330) I dont think he will ever be that high of a draft pick but for sure at least a mid rounder. Willie Reid was a hell of a kick returner, had a pretty good year at WR his senior season as well.

Yes Reid was a hell of a kick returner. God, how I miss watching him play. Dude was the best RB I have ever seen in High School. I hated that Bowden made him switch to WR. That decision really ruined his career.

He's good, but he definitely won't end up better than Suh. Suh is the most dominant DT since Haynesworth in a Titans jersey. Plus, we simply do not need another 3 technique. I wish we would stop entertaining the idea.

They're probably just saying that because he doesn't curb stomp players.

Nah, he's overhyper/rated. He's a household name so people thing he's amazing. He's good, but he's no prime-Albert Haynesworth. People will use the cop out "he gets double all the time", not true.. watch a Lions game.

Offensive coaches/lines figured him out. He's super aggressive & uses his ability to get off the ball to drive up the field. OL just let him rush up the field and take him where his momentum led him, which was out of the play. He would get past the OL & then be useless because he was too aggresive. He had an amazing rookie year, but has gotten worse; not better.

    I'm not saying he's bad - i'm just saying he's not elite.

I would be interested in Casserly's & Davis's opinions on Tyson Jackson a late first rd prospect that Scott Piloli took 3rd in 2010. What about Glenn Dorsey?

Offensive linemen are much easier to draft this early because a lot of DTs are on some other teams bench 4-5 years later. Almost no o-linemen are.

Sheldon Richardson is better than all of them, you only have to watch the tape.

Floyd is not near the prospect that Suh was coming out. Suh had 24 sacks in his career compared to 4.5 sacks for Floyd. Suh had 57 TFL compared to 27.5. Suh was much more feared and disruptive than Floyd. Suh also had better combine numbers in the short area quickness drills (3 cone and 20yd shuttle) and explosion drills (broad jump, vertical) at the combine.

From the games/highlight footage I've watched, I like Richardson over Floyd. I wouldn't be pissed if either were our pick at #10. We need to be more disruptive on the inside.

Both Richardson and Floyd are very athletic, do you all think that either of them could be like Kevin Carter was for us playing DE on running downs and moving inside on passing downs? We need to be stouter against the run and that might help.
