Same question how do you justify passing on Chance Warmack if he becomes the next Steve Hutchenson while Patterson just becomes an above average WR?

I get that WR isn't a huge need right now, but this time next year it could be a totally different story. Britt is on a contract year, so if he doesn't produce he is gone. Cook may not even be retained this season, let alone signed for a long term deal. So with Britt and Cook possibly gone next year, who are we going to throw to? We got Nate who is okay, and a slot receiver in Wright. That's it.

We'll be begging for a bigshot WR this time next year if we lose Britt and Cook.

We'll have a better idea if this is a real possibility once we franchise Cook or don't.

We need 2 guys in free agency even before we draft.

Yea, and I agree with that. I think he'll be a very good WR.

But we can't afford to go WR in the 1st round back-to-back seasons. We aren't the Lions.

He's not a sure thing. If he were AJ Green and available for us at 10... then absolutely take him. But he's not a sure thing. He's a project WR.

I've met a few people here at UT who know him, and he rarely runs the correct route - that may work against college scrubs... not gonna cut it in the NFL. He can obviously improve on that, but he isn't worth the risk that early in the draft.

If we don't go OL in the first, especially if warmack is there, it better be a DL or Milliner... i'd be pissed off...

We need to create some holes for CJ to run though, and we got to keep locker standing upright...

i dont think our dline is too far off from being good... hopefully with G.williams we get some better scheming and plays...

no to a wide receiver... in the first atleast... give me woods in the second

After free agency, I don't think we'll need two. Like you said, Guards are plentiful this year, and we'll likely be looking for only one starter at the position.

If they project CP favorably to Julio Jones, and the Titans have him ranked BPA on their board at 10, you can't pass on Julio Jones, even if you do have Britt. I like Britt and Wright, but I think Nate has already started to yield diminishing returns.

I think everything will become more evident after free agency. If the team doesn't sign any starting caliber Guards, or defensive players....then yes, we absolutely cannot draft a WR at 10. But I don't think that will be the case, and hopefully we'll be in a position to draft BPA at 10.

    If CP = JJones
    Ziggy Ansah = JPP

    These comparisons are worthless.

    Cp is CP...
    ZA is ZA

I didn't ever say I wanted him! I was just saying that after 9 picks are gone and we are on the clock we should take the best player available. Who the Titans staff things is the BPA may no be who you think is.
