    It's pretty simple really.

Tennessee like every other team, plays their division opponents twice (6), an NFC division once (4), and an AFC Division once (4). That's 14 games right there. And the divisions are rotated every year the same way for everyone, so there is no conspiracy there.

The final 2 games are determined by your teams standing. You will play a game against 2 teams from different divisions that finished in the same spot in the division standings as you. These games are also rotated. This year, it will be AFC North (Jets finished 3rd) and AFC East (steelers finished 3rd). Next year it will be AFC East and AFC West lined up with wherever we finish in our division, probably last.

Schedules are made 5 years in advance, so if you can tell me how these conspiracists knew Peyton was going to leave the colts, and go to Denver, 5 years ago, MAYBE I'll believe your theory. LOL, just kidding, I'm not that foolish.

You will never know the real strength of schedule until the year is over. The only interest to me is how many times we have to go way out west.

I hate when the Titans have to head west. We always seem to blow those games.

I know this is going to sound silly but it makes sense when you think about it. The best teams never have the "Strongest" schedules because they do not have to play themselves. For example, last year there was only one good team in each of the AFC East and AFC West. The rest of the teams were terrible. Those teams, Patriots and Broncos, will have an easy secudule because they do not have to play the only good team in their division.

Every team has to play 6 division games. The Broncos and Patriots end up with 6 easy division games whereas the other AFC East and West teams end up with only 4 easy games and two hard games.

And as you said, it happens every year.

These schedules are predetermined years in advance. I posted this linik earlier (posting again with further explanation): http://www.pslsource.com/tennessee_titans_future_schedule_of_opponents

You can see in that link the Titans opponants up to 2017. Look around the same site and you will see predetermined opponants for all teams. I know with the NFL and pro sports being the way they are it is hard to beleive. But there is no monkey business. It is all a simple mathamatical algorithm.

Exactly. I look for two things every year in the schedule. 1) are they going to play a game in Buffalo (near me). 2) how many times do we go out west.

Only going west twice in 2013. Could have been a lot worse.

Its done years in advance. Its done by division

Like next year, its AFC west and NFC west for everyone in the AFC South.

In 2014, its AFC North and NFC east

Its one thing we really cant accuse the NFL of doing to benefit a player. They had no clue where Manning would end up
