You never talk to police in a situation like that. Even if your Kenny Britt.

You don't want people who don't give a %^& about life coming after you for an incident you probably had no involvement in other than helping a friend.

It aint Mayberry out here. Muther%&^$ will wet you. Kenny Britt can get touched too.

Then Kenny Britt needs to divorce himself from the hood. He has some semblance of a brain. He needs to use it for something constructive.

There was speculation of being guilty of being involved with the stabbing.

lol How does that sound? He stabbed one his best friends, then took him to the hospital? I guess if it were an accident, but with the supposed related shot fired later, that doesn't exactly seem likely.

Then Britt either needs to spend money on personal body guards OR just tell the police he has no idea what happened. What he CAN'T DO is hide from police or dodge them. KB is a millionaire public athlete, he can't act like a hoodlum and last in the league. Those are the consequences/responsibilities of being a millionaire professional NFL player.

He can always quit the NFL if he can't follow those rules, or he will be forced out soon enough if he continues to have legal trouble or putting the NFL brand in a bad light.

I doubt he has much money left, he's no millionaire.

I believe what they were suspecting was that Britt was involved in whatever lead to the stabbing. So maybe it was trash talking a guy knifed his friend, or it was a brawl and his friend ended up being stabbed. Just the concept of Britt being around and interacting with people that would do it is what was in question I suppose.

Not that he was the one that stabbed his friend.

Has Kenny Britt been charged with anything in this whole ordeal?? Last I heard, he hadn't. He was just around the scene when the events took place. There's a big difference.

Have you ever been in a situation like that? I'm sure there was a lot going through his head. If the guy really was his friend, I'm sure he had a lot of different emotions racing through his head.

Hopefully he learns from the situation. However, situations like that do happen. I was around them when I was younger and I turned out perfectly fine (kinda j/k). All I care about is Kenny Britt staying on the field and progressing as football player. This incident is not going to keep him off the football field.

Why would they stab his friend and not Kenny?? Whenever I've been in a fight, I fought the one doing the talking. I didn't take my anger out on some random friend.

Unfortunately lots of black males are "around" violence in this country. Shootouts, stabbings, beatings. Those things happen. Kenny needs to be smarter about where he hangs out and who he hangs with. Even though those guys may be legit friends, they are obviously attracting the wrong things.

There's been lots of players who have had issues early in their careers only to turn things around and excel. Why not hope that Kenny is one of those guys and can truly be the star wideout we've needed.

It could happen but if he doesn't show up this season he needs to expect a pay cut to stay with us.
