I think anytime a major player becomes available that can improve your team you make a play for them.

But you're spot on, I wouldn't want him either for what he'll cost.

Plus Jerry Gray is scared to call man coverage. It'd be a waste.

Still with all that said, I'd like to know we're interested.

Make them an offer, if they decline then okay, keep moving forwards.

So, where does everyone think he ends up?

Rams would be interesting, with two first round picks they more be more willing to deal. Finny/Revis duo is interesting no doubt.

If Revis landed in St Louis IDK how I'd feel, I always get bummed out when we miss out on players we went after, but as of now we're not involved in this potential trade, so if Rams land him, then I guess lucky them.

I don't see much reason for St. Louis to be interested in him. Just gave Finnegan a huge deal, so they would be tying up way too much money at CB. Besides, Janoris Jenkins is awesome. St. Louis is way more set at CB than most NFL teams.

I have a feeling he'll be staying with the Jets. The injury is what complicates things so much. Potential trade partners are going to be wanting compensation to be based on the 'here and now' but the Jets are going to want compensation based on what he was and could be again.

What's fair is probably somewhere in the middle. But it's the NFL and these kind of deals are generally difficult to make.

It's unlikely any team will give up any big picks without having an extension in place for him before the trade is even made. That's the only way to secure the trade as a long term investment. Such contract talks take a long time to work out. Team has to agree with the trade and then Revis has to agree to the extension terms... A heavily front loaded contract for whichever team is probably the best way to get him to agree. Jets probably want to get as many picks as possible... Could be looking at a multi year draft pick selection... Tooooooo much risk when you start to break it down.

    Trade going no where fast.
