I bet Alex Smith never has a concussion the rest of his career - and not just because he'll be a backup.

Who says they're 17 down if he's QBing? And he can throw to a wide-open Davis just as well as Kaepernick.

As for GB, he put 30 on them in Week 1 and still beat them.

Alex Smith is a solid player, Kaep can be a top 10 QB.

Smith will be shown the door after the Super Bowl.

If you aren't "bashing" the Titans after this season, you aren't a good fan because you are settling for mediocrity.

You're content with us keeping Munch/Gray/Loggains? If you aren't complaining about us sticking to the same group of bums for 2013, you are a totally clueless fan who doesn't care about making changes or improving the team.

It is impossible to be a Titans fan and pull for the Ravens in the Super Bowl, so we do not consider you a fan anymore. That's just how it goes.

Idk why you're on Harbaugh for making the change. He obviously made the right call... they made it all the way with Kaepernick. They definitely could have with Alex Smith, but somewhere along the lines - either against the Packers or Falcons, they would've lost.

I made a bet with my roommate that the 9ers would win the superbowl around week 12. He picked the Packers. Stupid Packer fans think they have the best team in the league. Back to the point ever since then I have been the biggest 9ers fan. If they win I get $100 which is a lot considering I make $10 / hr.

I can kind of see a silver lining either which way this goes. Ray Lewis losing this game would be sweet. Then again, Jim Caldwell, the fall guy in Indy last year, winning would be a nice middle finger to the Colts... Maybe I'm in a glass-half-full kind of mood.

I cannot express how much I despise the ratbirds just by typing words in a post. I want them to go down, and go down in flames. GO NINERS!!

Can't say I would have been disappointed to see this staff go, but I don't get all the knee jerk reactions either. Did the '07 season teach us nothing?

Not sure how you can compare our current situation to '07.

We weren't THAT bad in '06. We were one win away from the playoffs and it appeared as if we'd be a playoff team the following season... which we were.

We will not make the playoffs in 2013 unless we do an amazing job in free agency and the draft... which I have no faith in our organization to do so, honestly.
