I was a jock in high school (though I did read a fair bit) and sorta moved into 'nerdism' once I started working in IT.
I'd never call myself a 'true' nerd (if there is such a thing) but i've gotten into comics, sci-fi, always loved fantasy, and other such things and I doubt I will ever change from that. I've never been one to follow the crowd either, if anything, I deliberately went against it because most of it was stupid.

Yeah. That's kind of me too. I always had my nerdy hobbies, which of course as a child I did my absolute best to keep secret. But I never considered myself a "nerd" and still don't. With the evolution of technology, I guess it only makes sense that some nerdy things have become mainstream and "cool".

But my thing is, you can be into nerdy things without having to make that your whole identity. People who wear thick black-frame glasses and super-hero/ironic t-shirts every single day are trying too hard IMO. Or people with their social media posts like "Lord of the Rings is on!!! #ImSuchANerd". I just have to do one of these...

Oh yeah I agree. I don't announce it, aside from having a few Marvel t-shirts. I certainly don't go OMGZZZZZ LOTR #nerdgasm or anything.

Bro, he has a good life. I'm just saying don't expect me to buy a "We Miss Bud" t-shirt when he kicks the bucket.

Tough to argue that he hasn't held the franchise back for over half a century.

Look at the successful franchises in the league. There is a pattern...

I'm not going anywhere as a fan though. Good with the bad.

His position is threatened no matter who is brought in. I feel like the only thing that saves him is wins and lots of them. Getting rid of a good coach and replacing them with whoever is never a good move.

Better to have a good OC and DC that may threaten your job than to forfit your position because of losses.

I think Munch should have been the first to go.
