So what are you guys going to do next year when Locker is the reason we're a wining team?

Not the way it works? Have you ever thought that maybe there is a reason these players aren't getting a shot and that reason is they aren't very good. Stanzi is a QB for Kansas City. If he was good he would have played.

Tom Brady was a full time starter by his second season and that proves my point exactly. Yes he started because of an injury but he went from 6th round pick and trying to make the team to 2nd string QB in one year. He would have eventually taken the job away from Bledsoe even if that injury hadn't of happened. Stanzi couldn't start over Cassel and Brady Quinn.

Bold prediction. I would switch that "when" with "if" to save some possible embarassment.

I'd be happy to say I was wrong about him if it means the Titans stop sucking. But so far, he's given us no reason to believe in him other than that he's a nice guy.

I'll stick with my original words, I've seen a lot of football in my time, and Locker is the right kind of player.

IDC what a guy does in college, I don't really even care how he plays his first season or 2, and that goes for everyone from Locker to the Mannings. Everyone is different and grow at their own pace.

Let me ask you, what other scrub have I stood behind? You can't name one because I don't support scrubs.

I don't keep very good personal tabs of what players people support. Because it generally doesn't matter to me. I once supported VY, so it is what it is.

Did you ever support VY? There's one scrub I guess. Odds are, if you're a titans fan, you've supported many scrubs. I have. Not anymore.

If it happens ill enjoy it. Based on all the evidence I've seen....idk how that's going to happen. I have no personal grievance with Locker....what would you expect me to do if he helped us win? I'll cheer for him. But considering how awful he's looked thus far, I don't see it happening.

That's a lovely philosophy. Unfortunately, how a player plays in college and his first few years in the league is often a good indicator of how they're going to play. Locker can't just flip a switch and start anticipating throws and making better passes.

I was a Locker supporter before the draft, I was Gruden love level with the guy. I still like him and think he can be a good QB. His top level is a Brett Favre with legs but more than likely he'll just be a better Tim Tebow. Give him a fresh start for next season, with his health, a better OL, full off season of preparations with his OC, and let's see what happens.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised either way with how Locker does next year. He has the tools to be a good starting QB but his accuracy issues are concerning.

Oh and it's easy to say "oh we should've drafted this guy" a few years later. Anyone can be that guy but give credit when credit is due when you wanted that guy the whole time. Fwiw I was wrong about Cam so far because if he can play like the 2nd half of the season for a whole 16 games he'll be a top QB. Never wanted Gabbert or Ponder, Dalton was solid player but didn't expect this (how good would he be without AJ?), and I liked Kaep (as did many on here I believe).
