And Klug can improve. Marks has had how long?

Klug needs more snaps in passing situations. No one on this line stands out

TN was 24th against the run. No one on our line makes a difference against the run.

Marks had 3 tackles for a loss. Martin had 4.

Marks had 1.5 sacks, Martin had 3. Klug had 3.5 in VERY limited playing time.

I found a site that shows snap counts, ill post more details later. Marks and Martin didnt show enough to keep anyone on the bench imo. They only did what Klug did, showed flashes.

Theres a reason everyone wants DL for our first pick :p Ours is not very good at all.

Sadly, we may have the same DC so Klug will be useless again next season as well.

I'd actually already started breaking things down in another thread.

In my original post I didn't add in klug. Here are his #s

    Klug -- 4 sacks. 2 hits. 11 hurries.

    Snap total : 253

Klug should move to DE, we only have 2 good ones, he'd also get more reps there.

I agree with this and because Wimbley was so bad against the run, Klug could play 1st and 2nd down and Wimbley will be our 3rd down pass rusher and move Klug to DT on 3rd down. I know that the chances the Titans do this is very unlikely but its somthing to think about for sure!

Why isn't anyone knocking Tracy Rocker? This is his first pro gig yeah? He is a major reason our DL sucks IMO.

He's nothing amazing, but I don't see him as the main issue.

Jerry Gray and his cowardly scheme is why we suck on D. Missed tackles hurts too, but we rebound from that anytime we blow plays, Jerry Gray continues to call soft coverage no matter what.

Yes Mike Martin is a better all around player and senderrick marks has improved but if youve got a talented guy like klug and youre not utilizing him i dont understand that. we have got to get a better rotation going with our d-line group

Last time we tried to do that (Jason Jones), it didn't work well. The guy fights inside and does great things against interior linemen. Putting him on the outside might not serve us as well as you think.

I read he wants to bulk up a bit, I think that can help him be a bit stronger at the point of attack. Don't get it wrong though, this guy is the star you bring in on passing situations to rush from inside. As you said, he got 7.5 sacks in that role as a Rook, and he was great. This year, even in less time, he had some great output. And he will only get better too...

I'm against moving him to DE, unless on certain 3-4 packages to mix it up. This guy is a pure rushing DT IMO, and you NEED THEM. I don't think changing his role is a good idea.

I'm very dissapointed that we couldn't get offenses in MORE of those 3rd and long passing situations, where we could bring in Klug to do some damage. They were just running it down our throats most of the time holding on to the lead.

I don't see the harm in spelling him in passing situations as a DE, actually I would like to see it.
