Nope. As I stated. Those guys could hit guys in the numbers. There problems early on were decision making (throwing into traffic) and understanding the defenses. The game was 100 mph to them so of course you're going to expect their numbers to be poor.

Locker hasn't learned how to read a defense 2 seasons into his career, he makes questionable decisions STILL, and he's one of the most erratic passers I've ever seen at the NFL level. He's no good. Just wait, we're wasting time and resources with him.

It was nice until Jack Del Rio decided to bring a big log inside their lock room and have players hack away at it with an axe. Gee, wonder what could go wrong there.

See why I dont understand this?

    (1) - You say locker hasnt learn how to read a defense, but also in the previous paragraph you say that their problem was understanding the defense

    (2) - You say Lockers problem is questionable decision making, yet the other guy's problems were "decision making"

    (3) - Game was 100 mph to the other guys, but not Locker?

I see what you are trying to say, I just disagree and this argument is a poor one. You are applying the same rules to different people, but pretending like Locker is so far behind the other two.

FWIW, Eli didnt see a jump in his accuracy until after he had 22 starts under his belt.

McNair didnt improve his until he had at least 16 starts. McNair didnt hit 60% completion percentage until his 6th season!!!

By the way, McNair sat for 2 years (with a few scattered starts), would you have dumped McNair in his 3rd year? The same year where his completion percentage was 52%?

If not, then I dont see why you are calling for Lockers head already.

Actually i do understand, not too high on him myself, but going to give it another year.

Locker is ahead of where McNair was at this point. McNair was third string his first year. Second string his second year. McNair also had Jerry Rhome, who was the top QB coach in the league, as an OC.

The team owes it to themselves to give Locker time and they know it.

Here's what I'm saying, Mcnair and Eli were bad decision makers and didn't understand how to read a defense completely coming out of college. Their issues weren't accuracy at all. Locker has ALL THREE issues. He can't read a defense, he throws into traffic consistently, and he is completely inaccurate. How do I know this? Well, no one knows anything for sure, but I'm going off the eye test. McNair and Eli could put a ball on the money 50 yards down field, or throw a bullet into a small window on the goal line. Locker is just so damn inaccurate, he can't do any of those things without dumb luck. His deep balls are like punts, you don't know if the other team's gonna get good field position or not!

Don't buy into the numbers so much. Locker's % will never be good, but that's irrelevant, I've seen him throw, it's pretty bad by my standards. It's obvious why scouts had him going in the 2nd round of most mock drafts.

If you really want to talk numbers:
The lower his AVG goes the higher his completion percentage will be naturally. He was in what I like to call the "Sucky Zone" last season with a AVG at 6.93 and a completion percentage at 56.3 (anything under 7.0 and 58% is SUCKY) This means he's not connecting on any deep balls and really isn't even that great at completing short or intermediate routes at 56.3%.

Vick's accuracy improved significantly his MVP like year with Philly, but point is accuracy can improve, and you don't think any of what I'm about to list below had anything to do with Locker throwing for 56 percent...

"If Mike Vick didn't have his legs you would have never heard of him." Kinda like VY huh, especially since he went out of the league as soon as his legs lost a step. The last thing I remember about VY was getting tackled in the open field by a wide receiver lol.

LOL Locker was not as bad as VY, and don't give me this crap about VY not having weapons.

Let's see what Locker had around him:

    - A terrible o-line and running game for most of the season.
    - His number one receiver was coming off a torn ACL and MCL. Cook was in and out of the line up.
    - A historically bad defense.

And what are you talking about this is his second full year, he threw 60 passes in 2011 lol, the equivalent of about 2 starts.

Yeah, from ages 12-19 you'll see accuracy improve, not after that. Mike Vick will always be inaccurate, Jake Locker will always be inaccurate. Bad news for Jake is he doesn't run a 4.25 40. Good luck finding your next job Jake! Baseball maybe? But sure as hell not pitcher..

So if Locker was 25/71 under pressure, then that means he completed 62% of his passes when not under pressure ... fix the OL, fix Locker

That number is actually pretty low considering you just eliminated the defense, can't confirm but I'd bet the good QB's are around 70% when not under pressure. And the elites probably well over 70%

Andrew Luck didn't have a single game in the month of December where he completed more than 50% of his passes ... and yet no one seems to be questioning his accuracy for some reason.
