My guess is that Reinfeldt must've pushed for the Michael Griffin contract extension.

Webster isn't going anywhere. Not like that wasn't already reported, but just reaffirming it for the people who are dense.

yeah thats basically the way I thought they worked. MR was the guy until like 2 years ago, then for whatever reason this RW clown comes into town and Titans were so unwilling too let him go they bumped him too GM last year and made MR El'Presidente. But I always thought MR/RW were more Co-GMing with RW in charge of the draft and MR getting the bulk of the rest.

Again I could totally be wrong about it but that was how I thought it was working

Yea I don't understand the reason for his firing when they did seem like they were co - gming. Wouldn't we just want to get rid of both of them.

I suppose either way it gives more power to Munch and you can take that as a good thing or a bad thing.

With Reinfeldt gone that means his trainee Webster gets to ride without his training wheels. This may actually be a good thing if Webster can become the type of General Manager who can build a winner. Only time will tell because I am sure his fate will be tied to the Munch. . . . playoffs or bust next season.

I think webster is decent at evaluating talent but not sure he has shills in the long term vision with personnel planning. I'm definitely glad to see MR gone. This must be tied to the Griffin and Amano extensions, maybe the Locker/KW direction the past 2 years.

Don't see us doing much next year except fortifying our lines. Maybe a 3rd on a safety. I'm praying we are not going Loggains or Moore for OC next year.

We did that 2 seasons ago. You cant "blow things up and start from scratch" every 2 years, gives you no chance to build.

Could be a lot of different reasons that MR was fired. Contracts of CJ/Griff/Finny (lack of contract), signing of players like Rudd and other crap additions.

Bud had to flex his arms, MR was the most logical choice.

That is what I think and the Griffin deal and no Peyton deal Bud blames on MR.
