This is the first Superman movie I've actually looked forward to. Last one with Brandon Routh (which I only went 'cuz of friends) was a snoozefest.

But anyone else chuckle at the Gladiator music and seeing Russell Crowe lol.

    The cinematography looks stunning.

Saw The Hobbit today. I liked it quite a bit. It definitely wasn't in the same league as the LotR movies though. But I wasn't expecting it to be. I really enjoyed it, but it just never got it's hooks in me quite like the Fellowship did.

Did you see the 48fps version?

I saw it in 2d and when the camera was like panning sideways in the start, it looked real blurry.. not sure if I was sitting too close or not but it didn't look right. I didn't notice it the longer the movie went on.. might not have been looking for it though.

I was pissed off at the end, I forgot they nerfed it into 2 parts.

    There's different versions out? Explain.

I won't be watching it until next weekend.

They have 24 frames per second versions and 48 frames per second versions in both 2D and 3D. I've heard the 48fps makes it look a little weird when they first showed it. I am curious if the reports were true.

I have heard the 3D is pretty good though.

Man, see I don't like watching movies in 3D, even if there wasn't an extra charge, I find it distracting actually. If it's something like Avatar, then fine, 3D's cool, but anything with a well written story, I don't want 3D.

Yeah I don't plan on seeing it in 3D. When it comes out on Blu-Ray I'll get the 3D version.
