McCarthy still bothered by concussion

    Titans middle linebacker Colin McCarthy, who’s missed the last two games with a concussion, was absent from practice once again on Thursday.

    “He’s just not ready to practice yet,” Titans coach Mike Munchak said. “He’s not feeling 100 percent. Until he is, we’re not going to let him play.”

    Others not practicing for the Titans on Thursday were: wide receiver Damian Williams (hamstring), defensive end Scott Solomon (knee) and running back Chris Johnson (ankle).

    Johnson got a day of rest and is expected back on Friday. It’s uncertain when Williams and Solomon will return to the practice field. Solomon said an MRI earlier this week revealed he had sprained his MCL, which will not require surgery.

    Limited in practice on Thursday were defensive tackle Jurrell Casey (knee) and tackle Michael Roos (knee).

    He just got his concussion like three weeks ago. Missed the game right after, then played last week.

    He's still BRITTle though.

    After preseason seemed like McCarthy was going to be a Beast but now it looks like he is going to be one of those injury prone Players. I know getting a concussion wasn't his fault but we need players that can play more than half the season for whatever reason or nagging injury.
