I believe the offense can only be effective if it can exploit what the opposing defense gives them. One week it means playing more spread. Others it's two TEs. I agree we haven't done either consistently well but I place the blame on youth/talent over scheme.

    Palmer said the following:
"I feel we put the players in a position to make plays, and at that point it falls on the players,’’ Palmer said. “We had a chance to drive and win on Sunday, and then we throw an interception. Well, that is part of a young quarterback. You learn from that experience and hopefully next time he’ll take us down and put us in field goal position. And you have to live through that."

Again, it's not the popular viewpoint but I agree with it 100%. The only optimism I have is that the new OC can pinpoint the plays this offense can execute best and call those plays in the right situation. That alone can go a long way towards making them more successful. Giving Jake some confidence will go a long way towards his development.

I think Palmer had also become a source of negativity for this team. Much of the offense seemed to dislike him and his scheme. Positivity goes a long way also.

I see those too, and other than Jared Cook, everyone holds themselves accountable for losing.

You expect them to call out the coordinator?

Tough to say for sure but anything we've heard of Palmer has been mostly negative.

Yea, cook was probably the most vocal but it's hardly a stretch to think that there were others that felt the same way.

Dwill complained about the thinking too much and then there was the "locker room not happy with o coordinator" leak earlier this year.

His personality was rash and harsh and the team didn't like him. The comments made by cook saying they could talk to loggains about anything is an underlying message about palmers presence to the teams mentality.

    Titans gain finality.

Instead of MM flying too Cowtown begging for his horrid staff - like fishface did - Titans are faced with the reality of actually changing the OC.

Hope JG is next and MM has 1 year left on his contract. I guess him riding that outis as good a move as any cause I really dont have any complaints about MMs gameday decisions. Much more aggressive than fishface. Although he did allow/force CP into the run-run-pass-punt fishface O sunday. That should never be done again
