    Smart man.

I rented the first one... fell asleep.

I was invited to go to the second one (Two Towers) in theaters, so I went... fell asleep.

Gave up and never watched a second of the 3rd movie... and I don't care that everyone says it's the best one. I won't get fooled again!!!

Skyfall "gay" scene was nothing. Bad guy touched his chest and then rubed his leg once.

Movie was awesome though... Bond runs funny haha

I suppose LotR isn't for everyone. I loved em. They were truly "an experience" when they came out. How I imagine the original Star Wars trilogy was (I missed those by a few years).

Fellowship of the Ring was always my favorite even though it is probably the slowest and least action-packed of the trilogy.

I'll never cease to get a laugh here.
LoTR is epic material and I'm not even into that kinda jazz..

This won't be popular but I absolutely snoozed on The Avengers. That one didn't even come close to the sum of it's parts. CGI sucked. Transformers lookin spaceships were BS, constant mindless cliched dialogue was far dumber than the original comics.
    Total cash-grab for Marvel.

They remade smurf and the three stooges and all that garbage, why not have a new Pulp Fiction?

Also, if you think Pulp Fiction was a bad movie, you're just dumb and I am unfathomably more intelligent than you. You don't understand art and you are all mindless sheep. BAAAA BAAAAA.

I was very disappointed with The Avengers as well. I loved all the other movies, but some of the fight scenes and junk were just too much. I mean come on, Scarlet Johannson hitting that guy with her hair???:disappointed:

Quit hating lol, The Avengers was great. Masterpiece? Nah, but probably in the top 5 comic book adaptations. The CGI absolutely did not suck. You need to understand that a Gollum that blends in well in a movie where the entire background is CGI, is gonna look more realistic than a big azz green Hulk roaming around New York City in broad daylight. That doesn't mean the CGI sucked, in fact, the CGI was great. It's a superhero movie, were you expecting dialogue on the level of 12 Angry Men? Relax with that pseudo intellect, bro and go enjoy your Turin Horse. :)

LOL, don't even start to lecture me about sht like CGI. Remember who you're talkin' to, boy. :p
Your argument about the Hulk is incorrect. He looked better ten years ago in the first film.
Did you actually use the term "top five adaptation of a comic book"?
Um, you do realize the backdrop of Avengers was also CGI?
    Terrible movie. Simply terrible.
And like I said the first time, the dialogue of the original comics was smarter than this film.
You fail from top to bottom.

LOL please don't tell me you're talking about the one with Eric Bana... if so, you shouldn't be allowed to talk movies again.

top 5 comic book adaptations (edit* top 5 superhero to be specific), I just woke up lol.

Uhh, it wasn't like LOTR where everything in the movie is CGI. Again, you missed the point. Take Gollum or one of the Avatars and put them in "the real world" and see if they look just as good. Hulk looked great in Avengers and his movement was much more fluid and didn't look like he "was on skates" like in the first film.

And what are you talking about, you like to hate on any movie that uses CGI.

Just because you're twice my age doesn't mean I can't lecture you. :)

Every movie uses CGI now.. It's a necessary evil. Most of the time you don't even know it... Cities, crowds, trees etc..

And I would say that 99% of every Avengers backdrop was CGId to a good extent. Same as LOTR.
And I'm not talking about if the Bana Hulk movie was lamer - the animation simply looked better.
There were points in the Avengers when The Hulk appeared in an almost flat traditional animation appearance. The best term I can think of to describe it was "hokey".
I am not alone in this opinion.

2003 Hulk vs Avengers Hulk. The animation is clearly better in the older one.
