MIAMI GARDENS A week ago, the Titans watched as Bears cornerback Charles Tillman forced four fumbles at LP Field.

Cornerback Jason McCourty took notes. On the second series of the game, McCourty stripped Bears running back Reggie Bush of the football, and recovered it.

The Titans cashed the turnover in for a touchdown four offensive plays later. In the locker room, McCourty was called “baby Tillman.” He was quickly to emphasize “baby.”

“I am not going to lie,’’ McCourty said. “As a football fan, you watch Tillman all the time and he is so good at it. If you get a chance as a defensive back to get the ball out, you have to go for it.”

The fumble proved especially costly for Bush, who was benched for a long stretch of the game. Bush had just four carries for 21 yards in the contest.

“I didn’t deserve to go back in the game,’’ Bush said. “I fumbled the ball and I’ve had two fumbles lost this year, so I have to do a better job protecting the ball.”

I was thinking the EXACT same thing while watching him go after the ball and trying to strip it every time he was near the ball.

I think the whole defense learned a few tricks from last weeks game. It's pretty sad when the team learns more the way an opposing team plays and is coached than from their own coaching staff...lol! Hey, at least they learned it, I don't care where they got it from!

Scarecrow get on twitter and challenge griffin to a fight. Meet him at the park. Call him a coward if he doesn't show.
