This is partially why I am secretly ok with the Giants doing well. I actually feel that everyone needs a 2nd team to compare their favorite to, keeping things in perception, because a lot of seasons get wasted thinking your team is good when in reality they're not.

Just watching the Titans yesterday I thought to myself we have no identity. Lots of fans have said it, and it's true. What do we do well? Besides give up a boatload of points and lose...?

    ahem.....

To be honest, though, I am 45 minutes closer to Nashville than I am from Indy.

I can thank Sandy for not having power (or the bars) and not being able to watch the Titans game on TV.

Your kind are the reasons why our stadium is overrun with the opposing teams fans. Not that you're a bad guy for making a buck, just a bad fan.

I'm only joking, but seriously, can fans not interested in attending games try to only sell to other Titans fans?

What Titans fans? I live about 2 hours from the stadium, and I could fit every die hard Titans fan in my 100,000+ person city in a 8 passenger van.

If Bears fans want to give you a lot of money for tickets, you gotta make a buck to recoup all the lost money on the rest of the games. Because Season ticket holders lose money on 3/4 of the games, at least. And not like 10 bucks either, they get like 1/2 back of what they paid in.

Some years both your teams will be down, it happens, but at least at some point you've seen winning football, and know what's required to win.

I know people who only care about 1 team (their team), and they don't know what it takes to win because they never look outside of what they know.

For example, I'll watch the Titans play and think "ok they're alright", then I'll watch the Giants play and think "no, the Titans are not alright". You see what I mean.. If you don't have someone to compare your team to, how can you know how good or bad they are..?

You make a valid point, there's just not that many of us out there to sell to. But there are some 1,617,142 people in the area, 1 of them has to be interested in 2 tickets for sale.
