Problem is- he simply cant control where he puts the football. He has zero touch. He's the exact same player that Tim Tebow is.

Don't care how talented you may be- if you have no touch on your passes, you'll only go so far.

I can't agree with that. Newton's mechanics are better as is his accuracy. His problem appears to be his ability to recognize when the check-down is the better option and execute that. I don't know if it is his personality, intellect or lack of experience that keeps him from being able to do that well. Chit- he is under a ton of pressure from fans and media alike to always be able to "make plays"- maybe that factors in as well. He is still making plays with his legs, just not as many. He is attempting to learn how to recognize and execute the check-downs. That is no small order for a guy who became famous in a zone read, run option system. There are going to be bumps in the road for any player making that transition. The real question IMO is if he is mature enough to continue put the necessary work in or will his work ethic flame out when he doesn't see immediate results. His recent press statements cast doubt upon that.

He's just been exposed, much like CJ after he started yapping about how great he was. When you draw attention to yourself, people go out of their way to make you look bad. Thats whats happened to Cam this year.

What's Cam's record? And what's Vince's record? Cam Newton is an overhyped punkass...atleast Vince won games...

I don't by this 'figuring him out garbage'.

Scrambling QBs, real athletic ones, have been around for over a decade now. Teams know how to prepare for them these days.

How many did he win with Philly or Buffalo? Where is he now? I'm so sick of everybody clinging to his "win" record like there was something magic about the wins alone. The defense was playing well and most of the teams those wins occurred against we're down.

Cream rises to the top and turds get flushed away. Vince is out of a job for no reason other than it was his own fault. He's had 2 other teams, with 2 different coaches, 2 different fan bases reach the same conclusion the Titans did. 3 strikes-you're out.

    Ehh no they weren't.

We were 0 - 6 twice and we went on runs when Young became our QB over Collins. I don't want to get into an argument because it's been done to death, but that says a lot.

I think Alex Smith is a pretty good example of an 'anti Vince'.

Bad coaching, inconsistent coaching, little talent, and a competitive division for the most part. He has had a great attitude and now that things have settled down, he is seeing some success. A QB is the most important of the team, but he is still only one part.
