he tried to race bolt but bolt wouldnt do 40 yards he wanted longer distance. I still think he would beat him in 40 yards on a track with track shoes and the track starting posistion. If u watch bolt he never starts out fast!

I remember a former East Carolina player claiming that he personally witnessed CJ run a electronically timed 4.21 at East Carolina.

He's a olympic silver-medal track runner. I'm pretty sure he's faster. I don't care what his 40 time is, that's not the only way to measure speed dude.

Bolt is like 6'3. His first 40-50 yards are terrible.. but after that he's unbelievable. Many people would beat Bolt in a 40 yard dash.

Whos to say CJ couldnt have gone the track route and won a silver medal if he would have chose it over football.

CJ was good at track, but Olympics are the best of the best. CJ didn't even win state in high-school. From wiki, "In his senior year, he finished second in the 100 metres at the 2004 Florida 4A state championships behind 2008 Olympic bronze medalist Walter Dix. In addition, Johnson also finished his senior season posting personal bests of 10.50 (the nation's 10th fastest in 2004) and 21.30 (the nation's 24th fastest in 2004) in the 100 metres and 200 metres respectively." Not saying he couldn't of, but it's unlikely.

True that -- Bolt wins the 100. CJ wins the 40. Who's faster? Nobody knows!

We likely would have seen Johnson edge out Bolt on the 40 and Bolt destroy CJ in the 100.

CJ ran track against Walter Dix in high school. CJ ran a best of 10.50, Dix ran a best of 10.24 time. CJ could have possibly made the national team, but I don't think there is any way he could touch guys like Bolt and Blake.

Yep. CJ might be more explosive at the start (which is why he's better suited for football) but his top speed just couldn't stay with guys like that very long at all.
