Those upgrades were in the works years ago, so I'm confused by what you're saying. How could they have known 2-3 years ago that this year would be a challenge to sell out?

Oh I'm not saying it's impossible. Just don't think it's very likely.

IMO it'd have to be a situation of a potential owner wanting a team for pretty much the sole purpose of moving it to "his city". I'm just saying I don't think a new owner would come here and look at our history and come to the conclusion that it "can't work" here.

There are 6 markets without NFL teams bigger than Nashville. There's also a dozen or more smaller areas where an NFL team could succeed.

All I'm saying is be appreciative the Titans are in Nashville, cause one day they could just as easily not be. People still should show up for the games and voice their dislike when things are bad, don't turn your back and complain to people who can't change things.

Because PSL folks have been beechin about the gameday experience for 5 years or more. And it wasn't until the length it took to sell out the season extended into the season that the plan was put into action.

This franchise's main focus is profit as opposed to some others that have a "build it and they will come" approach. In other words, QUALITY sells. I'm just really tired of paying for chit. (btw- I apologize for the fragmented posts lately- I'm posting on the fly in between cases).

make no mistake- Bud will pack this baby up and move to greener pastures (green as in naivity and money :greedy: )

He did to Houston and he'll do it to us. It's about profit, not quality.

Most definitely. And good luck to Munchak finding quality coordinators to come here on one year deals for 2013 if in some insane OUT OF THIS WORLD scenario he actually decides to get rid of Palmer and/or Gray.

The best thing to do is admit that we screwed up from the get-go with this "rebuild" and start fresh. For real this time. The right way. No holdovers. A completely fresh start.

I seriously doubt the higher ups have the cojones to publicly admit their blunders though. I just really cannot fathom what's going on at the top of this organization. Reinfeldt & company must have Bud on a steady dose of Diprivan or something. There is just zero accountability throughout every facet of this franchise.

Jacksonville is one of the biggest markets in the USofA.. It's not working out too well for them right now.. Same with L.A. and San Diego.

The only place I could see one going is in Oklahoma. People there are so concerned for College football, that there's no reason to move one there.

Titans aren't going anywhere. They're have to have this season 10x in a row to even begin thinking about it.. and they're still selling out all the games. At this point, 0% chance. Plus, LP Field will be a decent stadium for at least a few more decades. They won't be fighting for a new stadium like they did in HOU.

The designers of the stadium were smart. Keep it minimal. The more extravagant you make it right now, the more cheesy and outdated it will look in 20 years. LP field will still be a decent complex in 20 years.

That and a 30 year lease will keep the franchise here until Bud rides the machine gun birds to the sky.
