A few things that are not Hasselbeck's fault:
    • Crappy OL
    • Terrible D
    • No run game

Cook reading the defense better than our franchise qb isn't a good look

Steve played with a broken ankle and broken sternum. I remember fish saying he showed up to practice in a wheel chair and was in it until friday sometimes even saturday and he still gutted it out. Dont give me this crap. Locker has a shoulder where his only issue is dealing with pain. He's sitting out like any other chump would these days.

Hasselbeck is pretty good for a backup. He is better than a lot of starters in this leage. Him starting would be an improvement for Cleveland, Buffalo, KC, Miami, Chicago.

I'd take those QB's over Hass right now, dude took a HUGE step backwards this year.

lol as if it isn't already? Rather cut myself every gameday for the rest of the season than put Locker back out there too soon and have a QB who gets his shoulder knocked out every other hit because they won't give it enough time to recover.

Give me a fully healed gtg QB and 1st pick in the draft. OYEAH

The point remains that Steve missed games. Sometimes you can gut out the pain because pain is all you are dealing with. This is not the case with Locker. He has to worry about a set back that could keep him on the bench even longer. It needs to heal, period. This really should not even be a discussion, but the 'tards on this board think we need a new QB becuase Locker sat out a few games.

You guys remember Gruden's comments to Jake in one of his pre-draft QB camps? He talked to him about him taking too many shots when he needs to step out or go down. Going by memory, Locker said he was competitive and, by nature, wanted one more yard or to make something happen.

Sometimes, the best play is to throw the ball away or slide. That's all part of the maturity process for Jake.

Read on another site about an interview with Wycheck. Wycheck said that Palmer tried to implement too much of his offense this offseason and its confusing everyone. The QB, the WR's, the line, everyone.

Hass certainly looked confused Sunday, maybe there is some truth to it.

No. Everything I've seen this year from Matt is clearly worse than almost every game that Collins ever played for us.
