MINNEAPOLIS Titans running back Chris Johnson hoped to keep the momentum going. Sharing the stage with Adrian Peterson on Sunday, he planned to make it known he was still one of the NFL’s elite backs.

All he did was get more frustrated, however, and open up more questions.

“It is kind of disappointing when we’re going down the same road every Sunday or whatever,” Johnson said after the Vikings beat the Titans 30-7. “We’re not able to put drives together or put points up.”

Johnson, who rushed for 141 yards last week against the Texans, managed only 24 yards on 15 carries against the Vikings. Through five games he has 210 yards. He’s been held below 25 yards in four of the first five games.

“Not just the running game, the whole offense didn’t do anything,” Johnson said. “Nobody made plays. Everything took a toll; you just can’t say the running game. It’s the whole offense.”

Peterson, coming off ACL surgery, rushed for 88 yards on 17 carries against the Titans.

OH< ITZ NOT JST ME, TEH HOLE OFFENSE SUKS.

Thanks, CJ, for the comforting words. I can sleep easy tonight, knowing that you've got this all figured out.

Where's Javon ringer when you need him? Oh, whoops.

So now we're blaming CJ for saying our whole offense sucks? I would love to hear any of you explain how he is wrong about that. Go ahead.

Best of luck to Ringer, but a great RB cannot succeed here right now, much less a terrible one like Ringer.

Like we don't know that..... We don't need CJ to tell us that the whole offense sucks. He's just continuing to deflect more of the problem, when he spreads the blame out on a bigger number of people, except he never claims HIS SHARE of it. Sure, he's not the only crappy player on the offense by any means.. far from it. But he sucks, and so does our whole offense. Nobody asked CJ about his expert opinion on the passing game, reporters confront him about why the running game sucks, and he passes the buck, like usual.

This week I'm more pissed with Hasselbeck, so CJ better sneak away and stop talking while he still can. I don't wanna hear a peep from that guy.

I made no such claim. I simply stated that a great RB could not succeed here. Regardless of whether we have one or not, you can agree that our offensive line really is that bad can't you?
