I've always been a Kenny Britt fan, and supporter, but with his off the field issues, and injury history, there's nothing that says he'll be back in 2014 after his contract expires. So why not trade him? He's not helping us any by being on the sidelines, but maybe, just maybe, some desperate high profile team with no WR's will over pay for him.

Trade him to the New York Jets. Send him home, and walk away with a kings ransom. The Jets are going into this weeks game minus Santonio Holmes and Stephen Hill. I'm certain Rex Ryan and Mike Tannenbaum would bite on this.

So whats he worth to them?

I don't know what he's worth but he's getting close to CJ in terms of my annoyance level with him.

Probably, with the way our organization works, we'd get a 6th round pick and a bag of chips.

Kendall Wright is Britt's replacement. It just hasn't been formalized yet.

I don't know. Everyone knows what he can do. But everyone also knows his injury and legal history. I don't think we'd be able to get enough for him at the moment to make it worth the risk. No one is giving up a 1st or 2nd for this guy. That's for damn sure. And even a 3rd is unlikely IMHO.

I'd much rather just let him play out his contract and evaluate him after the 2013 season. Our FO is kind of in a crappy situation on this one because he can't ever stay healthy. It would be dumb to go ahead and extend him based on "potential". On the other hand, if he stays healthy and blows up in 2013 he'd be as good as gone if/when he hits FA. I guess we could always tag him.

This has probably been said, but does anyone else notice how content he looks to be sitting on the sidelines during games? Just clownin around, hat cocked sideways, grinning ear to ear. I know most of you are going to say aww shucks that's just his personality blah blah blah, but it has really started to piss me off, he could not possibly care less about being in there. I still want to keep him though which is really sad.

Would you prefer him to go sit on the bench by himself with a towel over his head?!?!

In a heartbeat, I would trade CJ, Britt and Griffin to anyone with one of those new side by side Washer Dryers with a built-in steamer.

In all seriousness, I would trade all three, and I'm not even picky about what is recieved in return. I'd be happy with 3 3rd rounders.

If the Jets want to toss us a 2nd, sure. That won't happen though.

Kenny Brittle has so much potential. But, he's got the Dez Bryant/VY issues. Mentally can't become elite.
