I mean no disrespect, but you have no clue what you are talking about saying they looked the same.

Aside from his one WTF run, I agree.

Line had good blocking today, he produced better. Seems like he was pretty spot on. Although I do wish he would STFU about it.

One thing that no one can argue, is that he is not the same back he was his first 3 seasons with us.

I will say it again, the guy needs to many things to go in his favor in order for his one dimensional game to be effective. In no way is he worth a quarter of the money he is getting.

CJ didn't put up 140+ yards against one of the top rush defenses by himself, That O line was doing work.

He just needs what ANY other RB needs, semi decent blocking. A competent OC and coaching staff would also help greatly. We did one thing right this game and it was run the ball. Everything else, we did completely wrong.

It was GREAT to see CJ running hard, with a purpose! Open the holes for him and he'll get the big yardage! Proves he's still the same player, just needs the OL to create the gaps.

This was a very encouraging performance vs a great defense for CJ

If we can run the ball again, we'll get this season turned around...if Locker isn't out long.

I dont disagree one bit. Line was opening up some good holes for CJ today. The CJ of old would have done a lot better today.

Just like the first 3 games, both the oline and CJ deserve some bashing, except this time they get praise.

Even having 2009 CJ, this wreck of a team would still have lost. He did as well as could be expected. That being said: nobody realistically cares about a personal accomplishment in a game where your team got trampled. He's not really in a position to be making an acceptance speech here.

But today, for the first time, he didn't look out of place on an NFL team. Time to celebrate!

to me CJ seemed more decisive, and pressed the line of scrimmage more. He still seems to hesitate some (unlike in years past), but today was better. I thought he made something happen a few times just because he pushed himself up into the line and put himself in a position to break through any gap that might be there. It's hard to say why from watching, but I just don't see the burst he used to have and am afraid it may be gone.

LOL Truest thing I've read on here. He was lone bright spot for a while. A little bit of excitement to go with the VY/KC disasters back there. Being one game out of post season during his 2000 yard season was horrible.

Man hist interviews are painful to listen/watch.:madcow:

I feel like he had a pretty epic game a couple years ago, I believe 200 yards against Texans and we still managed to blow that one too. It was the one where he had the huge open TD reception...don't remember game.

Anyway with the way our defense is and hasselbeck throwing picks it would take a pretty awesome effort.

In all honesty though, we were right with them until the pick 6's. Defense was doing enough.
