I beg to differ! If you had over 10 carries you would have negative yards!

TBH, Why the hell did we draft this guy? We needed o linemen, a pass rusher, maybe somebody to clog up the middle, and a safety. We get a "deep threat" that's averaging less than 10 ypc.

OL: You don't take OG/C in the first round before 20 (normally). Arguablly David DeCastro would of been an ideal pick, but he's on the IR right now. Around 20 the top guards start going. We must not of been sold on any of them.

DE: Chandler Jones, Whitney Mercilus, and Nick Perry were all available. I thought for sure we'd take one of them.

"Clog up the Middle": We had Casey coming off a great season and Klug showed promise. We got Casey in the 3rd last year, so I'm assuming we fig'd we could get a DT later, and we did in MM.

S: We just resigned both Griffin and Babineaux, and there was NO safeties worth the pick. Harrison Smith arguably, but not at 20.

We're turning into a passing team, it's obvious. KB is always hurt/in trouble. Nate is 29, and only has a year left on contract. Damian doesn't show star potential... so we went for a playmaker. I'm hoping that Kendall turns into a Steve Smith (panthers) and be Lockers #1 target (unless Britt gets it together).

Because Kenny Britt is still a huge question mark.

You have to be able to stop either the run or pass. All those guys have been WAYYY more productive than thisa guy at this juncture. We could've traded down. Who's to say decastro still would've torn his ACL in our training camp? Look what Babineaux is doing now, keeping the bench nice and warm for Griff and Rojo. Harrison Smith is playing pretty well. I didn't agree with the pick to begin with, a west of a first rounder.

I will disagreed the CJ talk of the 7th page and talk about the 'Interesting Stat' that started this thread.

I refer to an old post of mine (the one egyptian that likes to recycle lol):

["What i am extremely worried about is Locker's accuracy on short passes to the flat. He had some good 'dink and dunks' more recently, but to the flat or on screens for the past 3 weeks in general (and im pretty sure about this), the receiver or RB catching has had to "make a play" to catch the ball (go low, go high, a couple times i think i remember a dive).

That 1 (or 2) second(s) lost is EVERYTHING in a screen pass. If it takes too long to happen, the D will close in very fast and you'll never be able to block...and if you do it will be holding.

How many times has Wright had to jump or adjust to catch a screen pass? How many times has the RB had to go low to catch a curl or screen pass?

Every second Lock isnt working with the 1st team, Id have him on the side practicing screens and passes to the flat."]

Also, i noticed the screens to Britt/D-Will worked, the bigger target in screens/flats helped Lock. But off course CJ/Kendall since smaller in stature & quicker are more ideal for these screens.

Not to say a healthy Britt cant do it (infact on a screen to DWill against he Lions he almost got a key 1st down towards the end). But the reason we need CJ/Kendall is because bigger and lankier receivers (i.e. Britt, DWill, Cookie, etc..) have a much bigger chance to get injured on these passes.

(Britt's injury against the Lions happened as a result of I think a screen, and I remember seeing him hobble off the field after the catch, happened on the near side of the camera and was very easy to see how he got 'rolled up' - i was worried.)

#1: I'm assuming we thought we were going to have a decent defense. Look how young we were last year, this year to. With all returning players on D (minus Finny), and a year of xp for the young guns.

#2: It's way to early to judge who's been productive in their rookie year. It's Week 4.

#3: Obviously nobody is saying DeCastros ACL would or torn here. Was just saying.

#4: All of our safties suck, but besides Barron no safety was wortth a 1st. Harrison Smith has been solid, I saw him more of an early 2nd rounder. Zero other safeties impressed me besides Markelle Martin (and we got him). It’s obvious we need safety help, more importantly we need a scheme change on D.. this back 3901325 yards off isn’t working for our safties.
We needed a playmaker, and I think we got it. Give him time.

Wright is leading all rookies in both target and receptions. He is #2 in receiving TDs and #4 in receiving yards. I feel like he is doing OK, especially when you consider no Britt week 1 and limited Week 2 and a 2nd year QB that was inaccurate at best the first 2 weeks.

Big Whoop. He has yet to get to close to a 100 yard game. Got a td in garbage time.

He was not worth the pick that high. I'm not saying he cant be a decent wr, i'm just saying it was dumb pick and its showing!
