Well your current division winners are similar to what I'd go with, though I'd probably give the East to the Eagles and a wildcard to the Giants... those were just my preseason predictions that I posted.

I just don't see how the Seahawks end up with a better record than the Bears and Eagles. I agree about Detroit. I don't think they'll make it.

So, are we the least talented team in the NFL?

Not least talented, worst coached. Maybe least talented safeties though.

Agreed. I think we're actually a pretty talented team. Young and inexperienced, sure. But talented.

I put it on coaching as well. We're inexplicably playing our "big money" FS at SS, which he is somehow even worse at. And Coach Dip$*&t refuses to admit the project was a colossal fail. We've got a run game that can't even put together ONE respectable play in 8 full quarters of football. Pathetic. We've got a defense that's perfectly content to just sit back and let opposing receivers run wild across the middle. We can't tackle. Can't make any big plays. Most of all, we just look lethargic, unmotivated, and unprepared in general.

And every bit of that ultimately falls on the shoulders of coaching if you ask me.

In 2000-2008, not in a million years would I of ever thought the above could be said about our team. Pretty real sad.

Griffin is extremely talented... he's just scared to do anything out there.

Who's less talented (team wise) than us? Besides the Browns... maybe.

Obviously this is completely subjective, but off the top of my head....

    We're definitely more talented than:
    Cleveland
    Indianapolis
    Jacksonville
    Miami

We're possibly more talented, or at least about on par with:
    Washington
    Seattle
    St. Louis
    Oakland

Again, it's all completely subjective as "total talent" is not measurable in any legitimate kind of way. I mean, we're certainly not in the top 10 most talented teams or anything. But I just don't see how anyone could look at our roster and say we have less talent than the rest of the league.

We have Locker, Britt, Wright, Washington, Cook, CJ (still undeniably talented even though he's been awful), McCarthy, Wimbley, Casey, Ayers, etc. Those are all guys that I'm sure most teams would love to have on their rosters.

I think we all felt great about our talent heading into the season. Most seemed to think we were a 9-10 win team. Just because we've had a rough start doesn't mean we suddenly don't have talented players.

If a top-notch coach like Bill Belichick were coaching this team I'd bet we're 2-0 right now. We sure as heck wouldn't be 0-2 by a combined score of 72-23. I honestly think Munch is in over his head. I've seen about all I need to see out of this guy.

Cleveland: Joe Thomas, Trent Richardson, Rubin, Jackson, Haden, and TJ Ward
Indy: Luck, Wayne, Mathis, Freeney, Angerer, and Bethae
Jax: Mojo, Blackmon, Mercedes Lewis, Posluszny, Mathis, Landry, and Alualu
Miami: Long, Bush, Dansby & Wake
Wash: RG3, Garcon, Davis, Orakpo, Kerrigan, Trent Williams, Fletcher, DeAngelo Hall
Seattle: Lynch, Rice, Okung, Robinson (FB), Hill, Wagner, Browner, Sherman, Chancellor, Thomas
St. Louis: Bradford, SJAX, Amendola, Long, Laurinitis, Finnegan, Brockers, Mikell, Quinn
Oakland: Palmer, Ford, McFadden, Wisniewski, DHB, Seymour, Kelly, Branch, McClain

All the teams you listed have solid talent. We're in the bottom 10, let's just be honest. We over achieved last year in my eyes. I still think we can be an 8-8 team.

We defintely have POTENTIAL to be a talented team, but we need a TON of players to develop. It seems like I always have this false hope for the Titans and their players, and think they will be studs... and they just never take the leap. Like McRath, Pacman, VY, Travis Henry, Chris Brown, and the list goes on and on. Lets look at who you listed:

Locker: He's looked average, at best. Gabbert has been actually playing decent, compared to last year, and being stuck in JAX. Locker has been outmatched and also has a terrible run game. Locker has all the tools to be a stud, but so did VY. Locker is obviously they're mentally alot more than VY every was. But, Locker has serious accuracy issues and i'm not sure if that will ever be fixed. But, look at Favre and McNabb they also struggled with accuracy and they both have good careers. We're all caught up that Locker is this stud, but he has a ton still to prove.
Britt: POTENTIALLY could be one of the best receivers in the game. He's coming off an ACL, which normally takes 12-18 months to fully heal. He's also a knucklehead and always in trouble. Will he ever overcome the fact that he's always injures or always in trouble? Who knows.
Wright: Wright has a ton of potential as well.. reminds me of a young Steve Smith. Again, he's a rookie and has a ton to prove. He's got a ton of talent and i'm really high on KW.
Washington: I like Nate, but let's be honest.. he likely won't ever have a 1000 yard season. This year he's already had multiple drops. He's banged up, and Britt and KW will start to take his looks.
Cook: Has all the tools, again just never seems to put it all together. Seems like every year he's projected to have his breakout year, but never does.
McCarthy: I love McCarthy, but he's got the injury bug.. and has had it since college. I'm worried it'll be a Bob Sanders type of issue in the long run. Injuries can kill a career; if he's healthy he can be a stud.
Wimbley: I also love Wimbley, but he can't do it alone. He's a pass-rush force, and pretty good against the run.
Casey: He has a solid rookie year, haven't noticed him this year ONCE. I haven't seen any of the explosive plays we saw last year, but it's only Week 2.
Ayers: I thought he was going to be a wasted pick, but i'm very impressed with his play so far. A ton of potential, but again.. he's still young.

Chris Johnson and Mike Griffin weren't brought up. CJs play-style doesn't fit with us, and he doesn't seem to care anymore. Griffin just can't tackle and makes stupid mistakes.

We're a VERY young team. People need to wrap their heads around that. We can be a talented team, we're just young still. Once these guys develop, if they develop as planned, watch out for the Titans. I'm just being honest, we have the talent in place we just need time.

I'm not going to go back and forth about it. Like I said, it's a completely subjective topic. But for the record, I never said we weren't bottom 10. Only that we weren't the least talented (or 2nd least talented, next to the Browns).
