It's hard to rank the teams past the 9ers. Gotta put the Falcons way up there too. Unbelievable defensive scheme... I love what they were doing.

For the AFC... I'll root for anyone who isn't the pats, steelers, texans, or broncos.
I'd rather see the ravens win another, the colts with luck, the jets, chargers, ANYONE else.

I just want a super bowl that does not include the pats, steelers, or giants.

Time for some new blood in the Super Bowl. Like every year, I'll end up rooting for whoever is in the NFC. Would like to see SF do it.

To continue discrediting the Texans at this point is blind homerism. They have a legit team now, and look to compete with the elite in the AFC. I loathe them just as much as any Titans fan, but they will definitely be the AFC South champion this season, if not more.

After what? Beating the Dolphins and the Jaguars?

I'll tip my hat when they beat a real team. Which they haven't. Didn't manage it last season either.

All they have to do is make the playoffs and have Cutler hot. They might even get away with a bad game as long as Forte/Bush play really well.

SF is probably the best team right now. Doesn't mean they will be the best in Jan, but they are right now.

Its a tough call for the AFC ... The Texans are near the top, but as someone else mentioned they beat 2 lousy teams. They still need to prove they can hang with the elite teams. They will most likely win the division, but this is a weak division. I think they lose in the div round of the playoffs.

Same for the Chargers. Yeah they are 2-0, but they haven't been tested yet either. Although I do think they win the AFCW. They will sweep the Broncos. PM has always had trouble against them even in his prime with the Colts. An aging Manning on a new team won't beat the Charges IMO. However the Chargers are not the best in the AFC IMO.

Pats have not been that impressive either IMO. I really wasn't impressed with them week 1. I just thought the Titans made some bad mistakes at some inoppurtune times, and had some pretty bad missed calls by the refs. If they call PI in the endzone, and Locker doesn't fumble, then that game goes down to the wire IMO.

Its really just too close to call in the AFC right now. There are only 2 teams that are 2-0, and neither has played anyone good yet. At this rate we might be seeing an 8-8 team make the playoffs in the AFC.
