Locker - Week 1 Thoughts

I think that he played very well for a first start against the reigning conference champ. Lack of running game is not helping here.

Although he got hurt on the play, it was good to see a little spark from him on that tackle. Hopefully he comes back next week, as I think that we definitely lost a dimension when Hass was in there (although he played pretty well also).

 

Considering he had little to no help today, I say he was just short of phenomenal.

 

The o-line wasnt bad today. the run blocking was god awful but aside from a few plays the passing o-line was great.

 

Locker looked legit to me. but our secondary isn't anything to write home about. I hope hes good to start for you guys by next week. Good game.

 

So that ball was placed in a good spot?

Come on.. say it was. Please.

Im not saying Locker played bad. im saying he didnt play GREAT.

Maybe after so many years of what we have had, people actually do consider all of that playing great.

 

Just imagine how Locker would look if he had a running game.

 

he was okay. Had very few sustained drives, did the Hasselbeck dump offs, missed some passes but showed some flashes. The int was a terrible decision and the fumble was another bad play. First drive of the game and 2nd half were good.

 

72% completion percentage ... that is what i was happiest about. He was spreading the ball around and looked comfortable in the pocket. Very impressed with his 1st start. Sucks that we have ZERO running game though. That really hurt imo. Every run play was basically a waste
