Roster cuts?

Do you pay for season tickets and go to the games?

 

I live too far away to buy season tickets, but I spend a lot f money on official Titans merchandise and go to at least one game every year. I have been a fan since 1984 and have been to many games.

 

Guys i don't get the love for Hawkins but why would you say the guy sucks when he actually doesn't?

If you watch some of his plays..he's a hustler, has playmaking ability and he always seems to get a bit more yac than one would think. There have been quite a few plays when i was thinking oh boy there is no way he gets that first down or thats a no-gainer right there and he seems to find a way to get near the marker or get past it. He is definitely quick, does he need to keep improving? OBVIOUSLY, but he's a guy worth keeping at least for the season to see if he keeps improving or not.

Williams has been awol this pre-season too, so? He seemed to do a pretty good job last season, so give them a little break. Jake is the new QB and chemistry with those guys will probably take some time

 

In 2011, ranked fourth on the team with a career-best 47 receptions for 470 yards and a touchdown.

Let's also keep in mind he had more catches than williams last season. Williams did have more YPC and 5 touchdowns, but he played as a starter for most of the season.

Give the guy a chance, last year was his first getting real playing time. As a 4th WR, i think he's solid as a fifth i think he's a luxury to have around.

 

Well a lot of these posters that have been critical of CJ are spending thousands of their dollars and hours of their time supporting this team.

In my mind they are better fans than you. But I sure think it's silly that you want to say you are a better fan than TitanJeff because he had been critical of CJ and put a funny CJ smiley on the Titans Forum he helped create. After all, that is what you are saying.

 

Mariani will go on IR. Hawk has to stay around because as said, he knows the system and fills a role. Remember when we signed Avery last season and it took weeks for him to catch on? He had to learn the system, etc. That's what any vet WR would do at this point -- it'd take them weeks to adjust while Hawk knows what's going on. Hawk HAS to, and WILL start the season as the 4th wr behind Nate, Wright & D-Will. Once Britt comes back, Hawk goes to the 5th spot but he still doesn't get cut.

 

I've never seen TitanJeff say anything non football related in his criticism of CJ. Who do you think you are accusing me of saying I'm better than a particular user on the site when I never said that. I don't appreciate you doing that. seriously, what is wrong with some of you people? Ending your patheitc post of falsehoods with "after all that is what you are saying."

Well let's see... this TitanJeff's website primarily. Bottom line is he is responsible for the smileys. You complained about it in the other thread how it is low class. I'm pretty real sure I can remember TitanJeff (as well as other season ticket holders including myself on this forum) being critical of CJ's attitude and play last year. You are stating you are a better fan.

These are your words, so back them up or shut up. I don't like people saying they are a "better" fan than me, I think it is juvenile and stupid. This is why you have been called out.

(sorry to involve TJ in this specifically but he was a great example to use so I took it)

 

lol @ harping on this better fan crap. Why did you even bring this up? We all agreed that that argument had run it's curse and there was no meeting in the middle on it and ended it. It was over, and then you brought it up again, cuz you like to stir stuff up. That's kind of lame.
