Yeah he has been playing good so far. I wish he could start this Thursday, also.

Looking forward to seeing more of him.

I try to not judge picks during the draft. The coaching staff and scouts know more than us and have more inside information than we can imagine. With the Brown pick there was so some risk but he has crazy potential, I know we were all kind of shocked by the pick but I really like it now. The fact that he could be starting week 1 means he's doing way better than I thought. I was thinking it would take him a year until he was starter material.

I'm diggin' ZB. Obviously, he won't start (Spoon will get the nod). However, ZB will still get some playing time. ZB can rotate in for both Ayers and Witherspoon, as well as special teams. Next year Will Witherspoon is a FA, and will likely walk. So... ZB gets a year to learn, behind a solid vet (and two good 2-year players), then take over next year. I doubted this draft pick, but i'm starting to like it more and more.

Its too bad hes afraid of hitting people. lol I really like the way our draft picks are looking so far this year and last years as well. It will be interesting to see what our defense looks like when all of these young players have over a years of experience!

    The Great
He's been able to make some negative yardage plays by shooting the gap and firing into the backfield in each game I believe. He has impressive speed.

    The Good
    He doesn't look lost.
While his tackling technique leaves a lot to be desired, he's been able to get people down for the most part. That's a little better than expected.
Here and there he's been able to take on some blockers.

    The Bad
He has over-run some plays and on one misdirection play, it wasn't pretty.
He has not looked great at taking on blockers.

    Things to Improve
He also seems to be much better running in a straight line over lateral quickness.
He needs to work on his misdirection reads. These are his biggest problem.
He needs to work on his tackling technique. On some of these shoot the gap plays he should be obliterating people instead of riding them down like hes getting a piggyback ride.

Overall, he's been better than we thought but he still has a lot of work to do but I think you can see what they like in him!

The Mike Martin pick really makes me ok with them taking Brown in the 2nd round. When we got him I thought we blew getting a difference maker on the D-Line, but thankfully we got what we needed and a were able to get Brown who may at some point be phenomenal.

I immediately like the pick for Madden purposes. I was beastin last year with our squad, but this year I may make top 100.

I was pretty excited when we picked him just because I think that we lack speed on defense.

Looked pretty good so far, though I couldn' tell much from the TB game as I was streaming it.
