Over Britt yes, but you have to be careful with his injuries.

I got burned last year with TE's and would have killed for someone like Davis.

They dont score enough points to be a priority.

Matt Ryan has never been a good fantasy qb. Speaking from experience here.

So... After all this debate I am still between:

Keeping Gregg Jennings and Mike Wallace

    Keeping 1 of:
    Matt Ryan
    Peyton Manning
    Kenny Britt
    Vernon Davis

As long as you keep Gregg Jennings and Mike Wallace you'll be making the right choice. I think Matt Ryan will do fine, but thats all he is. Low risk, low reward.

Britt should not be kept simply because of the injury risks.

I have vowed not to draft him higher than the 6th round this year - which is where I got him last year.

You need to go RB with that #3 pick. Sure, Matty Ice is not a great fantasy QB, but if you wait another round, you will end up with a bad RB.

Forte, McCoy, Foster, etc. will all be kept and RBs will be hard to come by if you don't pull the trigger with your first pick.

Matty Ice is a good enough QB to survive if you have a good supporting cast. Hell, I made it all the way to the championship with a horrific QB carosuel of Flacco, Freeman, Palmer, Hasselbeck.

IMO you're decision should really only be between Britt and Davis.

Sure, Peyton could have a monster season. But he's a HUGE risk (i.e. will he stay healthy AND will he be even close to what he once was). I mean, yeah he's Peyton Manning. But he also hasn't played in a football game since January 8, 2011.

I'm with Bravey on Matt Ryan. Low risk. Low reward. Just not keeper material IMO. At least not when you also have guys like Britt and Davis on your roster.

From my experience, aside from the top 3 or 4 truly elite QBs, stud WRs are the biggest commodity in fantasy football. And you could potentially have 3 top 10-15 WRs in Jennings, Wallace, and Britt. It's just SO much easier to plug-and-play with QB and RB than it is with WR.

How many are in your league?

Whatever number of teams are in your league is the exact number of QBs you should assume will be gone when you first pick.

That means Rodgers, Brees, Brady, E. Manning, Roethlisberger, Rivers, Newton, Cutler, Schaub, Vick, Stafford, Romo will likely all be gone - maybe with the exception of one or two (Cutler and Schaub).

Your best option with your first pick would likely be Flacco (or Cutler and Schaub if you're lucky)... and that's not very good. Keep Matty Ice.

Am I crazy to think Peyton might be a good gamble?
