You honestly don't think noise is a factor in nfl games? Any sport noise contributes to an advantage. Watch an NBA playoff game and notice the strong home courts are the loudest...and yes players do care when the stadium is amped up.

The Broncos defense thrived on the crowd noise last year. That sh*t absolutely matters.

Crowd noise absolutely makes a difference, though I think sometimes guys get too amped up and try to make the big play instead of the smart play.

The crowd has to be smart about it, too. Get loud when the OTHER team is pinned near the endzone and so forth... I seem to always get around fans that are football dumb at Titans games.

If it didn't, you wouldn't see the defensive players constantly trying to get the crowd up.

I sit in section 127 and have been to most of the games since 1999. The fan experience and loudest of the stadium has changed since after 2003 season. When we started to have a few none playoff years. Now having people stand up and cheer for there team when they are on defense is not there, unless its the 4th quarter with 8 minutes to play. If we pretended it was the 4th quarter every game then our fans would be loudest fans in the league. I bring a defense sign to every game and try to get my section to stand up and yell for our defense. It seems like the only time our fans we get up is on 3rd downs and then if they convert a first down, everyone will sit back down. I do agree we need to change the fan experience with how to energy the fans with stuff on the video board. I remember our announcer would get rowdy when it was 3rd down to get the crowd involved. Our home scheduled is the toughest I have seen in a long time, so we will have to back our team and get loud for our defense to bring in the nasty loud environment we once had back in the day.

We'll get the crowd noise back to full-form in a couple years.

To anyone who says crowd noise doesn't matter, have you watched a Saints game since they got decent? At least once a game the QB will have to take a timeout, or a delay of game because it's too loud to hear.
