    *sigh*

Guys. Just because people are honest about the south doesn't mean they hate it. Alex and a few others here never seem to grasp that, but it's true.

And for the record- most those wealthy people in Belle Meade, aren't Tennessee natives. They move here due to it being cheaper than other "rich" areas.

DW people that are already rich don't move here because it's "cheap", we have a very high sales tax. Rich people move here because we have no state income tax so if they are continuing to work it's a big benefit.

But truly, rich people move to Belle Meade because Nashville is an awesome place to live. It's like how Herbstreit knew to get out of crappy Ohio and move to awesome Nashville where life would be nicer and happier for his family and there is plenty of great entertainment.

He's also smart enough not to judge a city based on regional statistics that cover 15 states.

Now I will let you and Fry get back to it...

I never realized the mob mentality there is around here when you tell the truth about the south. I don't know how you deal with the redneck brigade around here who can't accept facts.

Enjoy the moonshine aided circle jerk, boys.

I am impartial to Tennessee. If I didn't have family here I would move. I cannot speak for Nashville, soon I will be able too, but Memphis is probably one of the less culturally diverse cities I have ever been to.

I don't hate Tennessee, I love it because it is where I grew up. I think everyone would benefit from living in another town for a year or two, it really makes you appreciate every small thing your hometown has to offer.

But if I could live anywhere......Flagstaff, Arizona. I think I may retire there if all goes well.

When I was in Flagstaff it was covered in snow. And from everything I have read about it, I doubt scorpions hang out there.

But I have been to plenty of places with scorpions, not a big deal to me anymore.

But this guy is a whole nother story.
