So the fact we didn't have a big back in 2010 was why we went 6-10?

Out of the 16 years that Jeff Fisher coached what percentage of those years did he have an elite top 5 QB? 3 years?

And out of those 16 how many years were defined by top QBs in the NFL? He coached in a different era, stop asking trap questions.

Super Bowl XXIX - Young and Humphries
Super Bowl XXX - Aikman and O'Donnell
Super Bowl XXXI - Favre and Bledsoe
Super Bowl XXXII - Favre and Elway
Super Bowl XXXIII - Elway and Chandler
Super Bowl XXXIV - McNair and Warner
Super Bowl XXXV - Collins and Dilfer
Super Bowl XXXVI - Warner and Brady
Super Bowl XXXVII - Gannon and Johnson
Super Bowl XXXVIII - Delhomme and Brady
Super Bowl XXXIX - McNabb and Brady
Super Bowl XL - Roethlisberger and Hasselbeck
Super Bowl XLI - Grossman and P. Manning
Super Bowl XLII - E. Manning and Brady
Super Bowl XLIII - Roethlisberger and Warner
Super Bowl XLIV - Brees and Manning

Was not PACKED with top 5 QBs. Plenty of power run and defense first teams in there.

It's not about getting to one super bowl. Yes the bears got there with Grossman but competing for a super bowl every year. Note that the crappy QBs always lose in the super bowl.

Amazing coincidence that Sean Payton won a super bowl with Brees. How many would he win with VY? What a coincidence that Mccarthey won with Rogers. How many with Collins?

A certain coach in New England had a career losing record before Brady came around.

As for Mcnair being elite? Can't say that about 99 he missed 5 games and his passing rating was below 80. Yes he was a good player for 6 seasons but elite?

So when we had just 9 passing TDs in 07 that was fisher's fault but when we had 30 TD passes in 03 it was somebody else?

This is a guy who had an above .500 record and didn't always have great talent to work with but people talk about him like he is crap.

What do you mean "defined by"? WTF is that? A meaningless statement and frankly an indication that you don't know the history of the league very well.

The mid 90s and early 2000s were not known for record breaking QBs every season.

Do people have to spell everything out for you?

Isn't one I meant that as a joke. Fisher is what he is a 8-8 coach. 6 winning seasons out of 17. He had the best team in the league in 2000. It is not like he didnt have any talent. His playoff record is terrible if you take out 1999. Lets see what he does with the rams, he did have a nice draft yesterday. I see 8-8 average over the next 5 years because that is what he is average.

I actually agree that the elite QBs make superbowl winning teams, but let's not allow this excuse to work for Fisher.

He wanted Leinart. He got his dream choice in QB with Kerry Collins. That is on Fisher. He couldn't handle Vince Young. Ok, maybe that's understandable BUT... he couldn't handle Billy Volek!!! I mean, Billy Volek was too mean for Fisher to deal with.
