2012 NFL Draft Coverage Thread: Rounds 4-7

Everyone destroying me on the front office should at least listen to what fans want should look at this draft right now. An OLB who weakness is SHEDDING blocks and technique. If there's two things that will doom you in the NFL it's that. (see Bobby Carpenter on hard knocks for a guy who couldn't shed blocks)

Instead of Asante Samuel and Osi we've got this dude from Clemson whose not gonna do anything. Just saying. How's the center position looking?

 

Ravens could also take a C.

 

I believe any center we get now won't outplay AWomano.

 

Not really, Mercilus doesn't fit their scheme, I don't get that pick. Crick is OK, but not very explosive and he has durability issues, not to mention he may be a little undersized to play the 5 technique, he's 278 I believe. I don't get the Ben Jones pick, they just re-signed Myers and he's not fast/athletic enough to be a good zone blocking center. Don't know much about the Brooks kid at guard except he's huge, It'll be interesting to see if he is fast enough to get those zone blocking hook blocks. Don't know much about the 2 WR's they took but they don't seem that great on paper.

 

I hope we draft Tim Fugger as well, he's a DE that visited us and we can yell things like "A Fuggin Sack!" or "Fugg yo' QB!"

 

And if Fugger and Ball get a sack together, we can yell "Its a FUGGIN BALL SACK!"
