    Why can we bet that?

Even his numbers wont wow you.

He threw an int at least once 9 times in 13 games last year. And he didn't face that great of competition.

The only thing impressive is his completion percentage.

Maybe lack of competition is what is making him look good to so many? I wish him the best, but I think that in the long run, Locker is going to be just as good.

He's overrated, he'll be a nice QB but the hype he gets is ridiculous. RG3 is the best QB in the draft.

So does anyone think he'll bust like Couch did?

    No.

He may not be great, but I think you can be pretty confident that you are going to get someone that is going to work at their craft and be a professional.

Tim Couch was an arrogant country boy that had been coddled his entire life and didn't know how to work hard or deal with things when they went wrong.

Against USC last year: 29-40 for 330 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT. Completed a pass to 9 receivers.

Oregon: 27-41 for 256 yards, 3 TD, 2 INT. Completed a pass to 9 receivers.

Oklahoma State: 27-31 for 347 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT. Completed a pass to 9 receivers.

INTs will happen. Favre threw a lot of INTs. He's great. If you don't think Luck is a sure pick as any in the last 20 years, you're wrong.

I do. Indy will give him more time than Cleveland gave Couch but Manning's footsteps will be impossible to fill and we all know that team is sh!+ without Peyton. Adding an overly-hyped rookie QB to the mix doesn't change that. Just my opinion. I've never understood the Luck hype.

I wasn't defending ESPN "scouts". You're right, they're idiots. I was talking about the Colts scouts. If they think Luck is worth ditching manning, and passing over RGIII, he probably is.

Look a little more closely at their organization. These same people also thought Tony Ugoh, Anthony Gonzales, Jerry Hughes, Donald Brown, and Joseph Addai were all great picks high in the draft. These all within the past 5 years or so.

They have been awful at scouting. Manning covered up their mistakes for a decade, and there have been plenty to go around. The Colts were about as badly run of an organization as you can get. They just hit a homerun at the QB position, which anyone in their right mind with the number 1 pick would have done in 1998, and they rode that wave as long as they could. It's over now.

I understand why they cut ties with Manning. They realized his time was about up, and the Colts have to work on building a new legacy. Guess they'd rather get the hard part out of the way, and quit delaying the inevitable.

If they weren't idiots, they would have drafter a QB in the first few rounds within the last 3 or 4 years, to groom him, but instead they decided to not hurt Manning's ego, and it cost them this past season.

Manning made Dungy a legend, made Caldwell look like a decent coach for a season or two, he's the only reason Lucas Oil Stadium exists, he's the only reason the Colts have about 60% of the fans they have now. I can't think of one player that has done that much for one organization.

Now if Luck busts, it will all crumble.
