I think everyone is kind of falling into the trap of liking that concept because it's dark. Navy and black always look good under that lighting. On the field, they often end up looking boring. It's an nice concept for sure (the white pants help a lot), but I don't think it's right for the Titans.

Color isn't such a bad thing. The light blue is unique. I still maintain that it would be a bad move to ditch it and become yet another team with dark blue jerseys and helmets.

I like the light blue better TBH. I would be fine if we made small changed like Away jerseys shoulders are navy. With light blue pants. Home uni have white pants. Sword logo on helmet. Tack logo removed from everything. Don't need two anyway.

Light blue sucks. That's all there is to it. Unless we're going back to full-time Oilers jerseys I never want to see that color used again for our jerseys.

Maybe we can get that concept with reverse colors?

Since TK said place that helmet with it. (posted in another thread)

The stripes, I'll mock them up again. It's just a subtle detail. Think Bronco's stripe, but the botom the shape of the dagger and half white-half silver.

You always post that helmet and I always think that the gray facemask ruins the whole thing. You gotta change that up, man. Gray facemasks are a specific thing in football uniforms. They are a throwback to the days when facemasks only came in gray. The teams that have them today all have classic uniforms. Browns, Colts, Raiders, Giants, Cowboys. A gray facemask clashes with that modern helmet design.

I am eager to see the concept that you come up with. Just please consider removing gray/silver, especially from the facemask.

lol I've posted that specific helmet maybe once.

But I should remove the grey because there's some "only old school teams can use grey" unwritten rule?

I generally hate grey facemasks, but due to our silver, it ties in. White doesn't look right, blue doesn't contrast well enough or does so too much... so any other colors to use, I'm not sure.

Now if silver was removed from the uni completely, that'd change things. And I'd be all for it. Both silver and red removed.

Let's pretend we did get rid of silver and red entirely. Like crud's mockup, maybe the facemask should be black? Could look good.

I typically agree with TorontoTitanFan on uniforms, but I kind of like the grey, but do see where he's coming from.

As long as we don't turn into another navy blue team, I'll be fine with whatever new look we take on. TorontoTitanFan is right that there's so many navy blue teams out there. Yea navy blue is the best color, but I like my team to stand out.

    Navy teams
    Rams
    Patriots
    Texans
    Bears
    Broncos
    Chargers

We're kind of already a navy blue team.

Well until we went to this weird bright blue'ish baby blue color.

And I'm all for powder blue... but what our jerseys are now, is some weird hue of it.
