I wouldn't be upset if we had this draft a lot of high risk high reward type players

I'm warming up to the idea of drafting David DeCastro in the first.

Solid chance that he falls, most OGs go 15ish round. I could see Kansas City going with him 11th overall, but that's way to early for a guard. After that Cardinals (13), Cowboys (14), Bengals (17), and Bears (19) all make sense... but all have other needs too.

If he fell to us, we have to take him.

    Roos - Hutchinson - Koppen? - DeCastro - Stewart

for sure a Top5 OL, if CJ puts in work and gets back up too 1500ish yards... dear lord. A top rush attack with Locker, Britt, Nate, and Cook as our other weapons. That would be a scary offense. We could still go DL 2nd and 3rd and pickup players like Vinny Curry, Mike Martin, Brandon Thompson, etc who are solid talent. Just look at what Klug and Casey did last year and where they were drafted...

I am not against that, but I don't think our front office are in favour of drafting interior offensive lineman that early in the draft. I honestly think we might be going for a WR. Alshon Jeffery, Michael Floyd (if he drops). As the DT class is so deep it could leave us with a CJ2K draft situation where we just go BPA in the 1st round.

I would be delighted if we selected Decastro, then Curry then Martin.

I'd take Michael Floyd or Kendall Wright (depends on who is available); would be scared of Alshon.

WR obviously isn't our biggest need. But if our FO found some draft gems later on (like Casey and Klug) then sure, i'm all for it. Especially if we can get Koppen locked in. BPA rd 1, DL/DB rd 2-?

I don't think theres a dlineman worthy at our pick. I think we say fk it and go Michael Floyd in the first. Then Locker has an insanely talented WR core to work with for years to come.

Michael Floyd has bust written all over him. All the guy does is get hurt. I pity the team that wastes a first round pick on him.

WHO WOULD YA'LL LIKE WITH THE 2nd ROUND PICK???

Walterfootball.com's new mock draft projects Zach Brown, Vinny Curry, Kevin Zeitler, and Mike Martin to be there for us in the 2nd.

I guess this pick will depend partly on who we select in the 1st, but if these 4 very talented players are there for us in the 2nd who would you pick?

Personally, I would go with Brown or Curry, depending on who our first round pick was. Zach Brown would be a great OLB that would eventually start, and Curry would be a great DE that would get a lot of reps and could eventually start, as well. If we didn't go DE in the 1st I'd probably still pick Curry over Brown. Thoughts?
