questions on both sides... irvin insists that he didnt do anything and would not waste his time destroying a jimmy johns sign... quotes "worked too hard up to this point, why would i do something as dumb as this"

who knows... as for now, its he said she said..

The steals of the draft will be DE Jake Bequette from Arkansas and LB Vontaze Burfict. Jake Bequette had 10 sacks this season while being hurt half the season. Not to mention he was strictly a right end in the SEC.

Vontaze Burficts game tape should speak for itself. I don't care how poorly somebody does in an interview or combine. He has a Ray Lewis mentality and he's a great football player.

I hope the Titans get both these guys. We need some attitude on the defense now that Courtland is gone. Walterfootball.com has Burfict going late 4th and Bequette going late 5th...wow.

He seems to be the kind of player who wouldn't practice well but when its game time he takes it to a high level. He's definitely not that slow (4.98) on the field. With that being said, he still isn't fast enough to play outside linebacker in the NFL. Being that we are set with McCarthy it would be hard to justify trading down into lower 1 higher 2 to get him when we are already set at the position. If we get a linebacker it needs to be an outside backer. We don't have the personal on the DL to even attempt to run a 3-4, much less rush the passer right now.

^^^this guy's a genius. Also, I wouldn't trade up for him, but if he falls to us in the 4th, like some mocks project, I'd take him in a heartbeat. I'd probably spend a 3rd round pick on him.

I don't think it makes too much sense to mess with something good we have going. Obviously not the same position, but it didn't work out too well for us when we moved JJ outside.

The tape of him repeatedly crippling his team with stupid personal fouls at inopportune times.

I do agree, you don't need a bad combine to know the guy is absolutely poison.
