Have the Tebow fans and Manning fans killed each other yet? I am expecting at least some rioting pretty soon

For what it's worth, the skies have clouded up and temperature has dropped quite a bit since Manning announced he made his decision.... I am just south of Denver and headed for my bunker now prior to the apocalypse!;-D

I heard Wilbon on PTI say that Stokely and Saturday were now planning visits to DEN. Seriously who is putting this team together. Might as well hire me to put together a "championship team". I could just as easily pick up the old players from a team that used to be good. Where is the creativity, what happened to putting your stamp on the team?

Not that I care, I just think its funny. Kinda like when the ESPN reporters are picking their SB picks at the beginning of the year, there is always at least one that picks the exact same 2 teams that were in it the year before ... great analysis, I could do that.

    Denver won't be a contender.

They won't make the playoffs, either.

I look at it like this...we made out in this deal. What did we really lose? A shot at a couple centers? I agree, Amano is garbage but just about anyone would be an upgrade so he's easily replaceable. The Broncos offered nothing more than money. Their running game is led by an aging Willis McGahee, their defense only shows up sometimes ( not to say ours is any better ) their oline let's the qb get hit often, they don't have a true #1 WR. And most importantly, with Tebow on the outs. They have ONE QB on the roster as of now with basically no one on the Market. If our old QB gets knocked out, our future is ready to go right behind him. WHEN Manning goes down, they're screwed.

Fox obviously has no backbone and that's why a running oriented coach sold out for the guy that will call his own plays. All Fox has to do is sit their on the sidelines with Elway and their smug smiles and clap. This move was purely money, Denver offers nothing. If he wanted to win he would have gone to SF. And trust me, I have no love for the Niners. So let's all congratulate the Broncos on their idiotic decision and laugh when Peyton chokes away the playoffs like he usually does. Good riddance

Just curious, how can you say this was "purely about money" when the Titans were supposedly handing PM a blank check and wanted him to be a Titan for life?

It wasn't about money. It was about the fact that he felt playing in TN was too much pressure. Especially with Bud Adams comments about him being there for life and all that. Also, the Titans have a stud QB in Jake Locker waituing to take over, and the Broncos don't.

I'd like to see the offer. Bud just reveals subjective descriptions of what he offered. I doubt he went 5yr 95 mill.

Like Riverman just said, show me Bud's offer. I don't buy that the crazy old guy offered to mortgage the farm. Its not his style. At the end of the day we still have a lot of money to spend and Denver doesn't. We have 2 good QBs, Denver doesn't. End of story.
