    Nope.

Don't get me wrong, it's very easy to get swept up in the drama. It's exciting to see the Titans attempting to do something in FA for the first time (though really, last season landing Hasselbeck was damn good as well), and to some extent I hope they succeed just because I like when the Titans succeed... however, I still don't think QB play was a huge weakness of ours last season, I'm not sure Peyton will remotely be playing on the same level he had been, and gosh darnit I just cannot fathom rooting for ole' noodle neck. A decade plus of rooting against the guy and now I may have to cheer for him? Blah. Truth be told, I'd rather root for Hasselbeck.

Yes, changed mind. Before I figured no simply because the investment in Mario would probably pay off longer, but with Mario gone and Hutch on board (insuring our IL is a bit better for Peyton and offense, though pass protecting wasn't a weakness), I'm all for getting Peyton.

It's getting best player on the market.

Before, I thought that may have been Mario.

With Mario gone, it's definitely Peyton. So I say get Peyton.

Season ticket holders want Peyton Manning... It means they can scalp their tickets for triple just like they did 10 years ago.

I don't think we have to sell our souls to the devil to make the playoffs... if we even do that...

What happens when we go 8-8 this year with manning? Whose head are you gonna ask for? Munchak or Mannings?

I'd rather roll the dice with locker. He has tremendous upside and going with anyone else would be a huge step in the wrong direction....

Ask the Jets and Vikings what happens when you go for an old hall of fame quarterback past their prime.

Well the Vikings went to the NFC championship game and the jets who were not very good before Favre were on their way to a good season(possible playoffs) before Favre got hurt.

Not to mention the Jets had 7 pro bowlers that year, one being Favre and they also were the ones who stopped our unbeaten streak in 2008 when Favre and co came to LP field and beat us down 34-13.

    So it's either...

    1. Start Hasselbeck another year (yikes)
    2. Give the keys to Locker, it will have it's ups and downs like expected of a young QB.
    3. Sign Peyton Manning.

My main concern was money and years but we've already upgraded the OL and looks like our draft will focus on defense so yeah I'm for the Manning signing now. Now I'm a huge Locker fan but if you give me the choice between him and a future HoF, it's pretty easy. Having Locker on the bench for another year or two (depending on Manning's health) isn't that bad.
