I remember all to well how to stop Manning. Blueprint has been out there for ages. Run the ball, keep the ball out of his hands. 7 one and outs, people know how to stop Manning.

24th against the run wont do that. Thats why I saw Dline a bigger priority than Manning.

And I would have complained about Mario's contract if we gave him that... however at least it would have really helped this team.

And its not just about the sacks. Hurries are pretty damn useful in football these days.

It's crazy that everyone on here wanted Mario so bad and now that he signed with the Bills we are better off not paying him that much money. We all knew that was the kind of money he was going to get, but now everyone flip flops. I've been on the Manning train since day 1 and I actually didn't even want Mario because I knew he would get paid a helluva lot more than he was worth.

Yes but what's the chances our offense goes 3 and out ANYWHERE NEAR as often as last year? The defense will benefit greatly from rest and one dimensional offenses of our opponents when we take the lead with our offense.

I think we'd all love to have Mario. Just not for that kind of money. I'm honestly surprised so many people think he's actually worth that contract. I bet you'd all be moaning and groaning about him being overpaid within 2 seasons.

He's getting $53 million in the FIRST THREE YEARS of the deal for god's sake.

I've been typing this till my fingers hurt all day. Maybe you'll actually answer.

WHO would you have signed to meet that priority?

Mario wasn't gonna happen. Our FO isn't stupid enough to pay that kinda money.

We are still in the running for Abraham.

Who else is out there? WHO I ask!

Who actually thinks he's worth that contract? Certainly not me, and I'm the guy defending Mario against people saying he's not an awesome player.

I am curious about what you think will be too much money for Peyton?

We should really start thinking about resigning Jason Jones.

The holes in our defense keep getting bigger and bigger.

Not sure if we can afford Manning, a C, a G, and Jones or Abraham right now though.

Well, after Mario.... Abraham... Freeny.. Avril (franchised and probably not worth it anyways).. Wimbley (whoever the hell that is)

And if you want to worry about your fingers, then realize this is the first time IVE been asked this question. \

You are not proving your point. You are cheerleading and wishful thinking. I dont have a problem with people being optimistic but so far you are grasping at straws.

Manning didnt improve the Colts D that much (go look at their defensive rank since he has been there). However he is going to make our issues non issues now?

    Get real.

    This D needs fixed.
