BenJarvus Green-Ellis is a guy we should seriously consider looking at in free agency to compliment Chris Johnson.

Everyone been throwing out names like Tolbert, Bush, possible people to draft. This is a guy with little wear and tear, who can get a 1000 yards as a feature back, and can be the Smash to Chris Dash. He could come cheap to the team, leaving Ringer expandable.

Yes this would be a great pick up as long as we can get him for relatively cheap

I know we have a lot of money tied up into Chris Johnson, but Ellis is a guy we can probably bring in for under 5 mil a year. It seems like a lot but Chris Johnson needs him, he does better when he has a bigger back wearing down the opposing defensive line.

I once said adding a quality RB would help keep Chris Johnson hungry, but I'd rather it be a compliment back, someone big and hard to take down. BenJarvus Green-Ellis isn't big at all. He's not gonna wear guys down so C.J. can come in a break one for 50 yards.

There are 56 million reasons why this won't happen.

No he is not the biggest but he has the hard head-on, downhill running style is what we need. No more jumping back and fourth at the line of scrimmage, or running lateral. Someone who is willing to plow guys over and move the chains.

From the games I've seen, and these highlight videos shows a kid who sees a open hole and doesn't second guess himself, it takes multiple defenders to bring him down, breaks arm tackles, fights for the extra yards, doesn't look to stretch the play but looks to go through the line. Young kid with little wear and tear on him.

That is the saddest highlight video I've ever seen LOL. But he's not too bad, just not an ideal free agent signing. If he's worth $5M/yr, thats too much as a back-up.

It is the best on the web if you guys have not seen him play than I feel sorry for you guys, whatever team picks him up is getting a gem of a player. Their are no teams that feature only one running back, almost every team use multiple or at the least two. Ringer is not a punishing runningback neither is Harper. In 2006, 2007, 2008 (I think those are the correct years)we drafted 3 runningbacks early so their is no reason why we shouldn't try to get another one.

I've seen plenty of BJG, I'm just not a fan of his. Yea he's a consistent runner, but he's more of a player you settle for, not someone you aggressively peruse day-1 of free agency.
