I like McShay more than Kiper, but don't really value either of their opinions.

I will agree with them on Perry though.

    INSIDE SCOOP

Just had a friend text me, he works for UoI facilities, and was at the Irwin Indoor today (which is the indoor football practice area)... which is where Illinis pro-day was today.

He said there was multiple Titans-reps there at the pro-day, every other team had just one or two. Also said he saw alot of Jaguars and Cowboys reps there. I'm assuming for Mercilus?

It should come as no surprise that the Titans are going to take a very close look at all the DL prospects.

I think the same thing, and that's why I could see the Titans easily taking him without much delay. I'd expect they'd take Mercilus or Perry first just because taking a guy like Coples is really taking a direct replacement for Morgan, IMO.

I like it a lot. I doubt the Jags would take him at their spot, but I don't know about the Cowboys.

I recommended in another thread taking Brandon Thompson in our spot. He shores up the middle completely and along with Casey and Klug will instantly make our ends better. As well, he makes Jones very expendable in our new scheme, IMO.

Ideally, I would love to get Mercilus in 1 and Thompson in 2, but I'm not sure that's feasible.

If we can shore up our offensive line in the FA I would love to go Nick Perry/Brandon Thompson or Mike Martin/Cam Johnson in rounds 1, 2, and 3. I don't think we have many holes but our offensive and defensive lines

I agree the lines are the major point of emphasis and could make the biggest and most immediate impact. I'd be satisfied with Martin or Johnson in that second to third round range, especially if they knocked out the first round pick.

I think we should grab Sampson Satele. If not we should draft Peter Konz because if we dont our OL will be the same as last year. I like Coples if he drops to us but I would not gamble on the others. I would think about Upshaw if he fell to the second.

Oh! By the way, if Coples does fall out of the top ten I think it would be well worth it to trade our 1 and our 4's to move up and grab him. Then again, I would rather take DeCastro if we get in that position.

    To summarize:

    My first round options,
    1. DeCastro
    2. Coples
    3. Konz
